But if you read the book the author states that the prayers that God always answers are prayers that bring you closer to Him. We are God's hands and feet on earth. We need to bring healing to hurting people! in small ways - a quote from book concerning your question - When "two or three" people are present . . . it is when you love your neighbor that God is most truly and fully present. He prayed that the cup of crucifixion would pass from him, that God's will would be done on earth, that God's kingdom would come, and that his followers would be "one" even as he and his father were one. But he was crucified, Satan is still the god of this world, and his followers have split into nearly 40,000 (forty thousand!) official denominations, each of which thinks it has the truth and that all others are in error. Wow.
