Digimon was a better show, i'm not even sure of any of their games though. Pokemon show was freaking great, just it really, REALLY started sucking halfway through Hoenn. I stopped watching when they got to the Battle Islands or Arena or whatever it's called

Digimon was awesome. I think I loved it because most of us were T.K, Iggy and everyone elses age and as we grew up, they did too, little brothers and sisters too. Made you feel like over in Japan this was going on, God I love my childhood!

But Pokemon is always the exact same thing. An innocent little kid playing with his pets who, even though they fight all the time, never seem to get any stronger. And even when his pets do get stronger, he sends them home to cause trouble for the guy who introduced him to the world of raising his pets in the first place, and gets a whole new group of ridiculously weak pets. It was only worth watching until they started adding more than the first 150 Pokemon. Now it's just... Luvdisc? Seriously?

Digimon should have lasted longer than it did. It's more complex than Pokemon. Although that's probably the reason it didn't get higher ratings, because most kids these days are fucking 'tards. The Digimon get stronger and have multiple transformations, but when they get exhausted they revert to their base stage. And the enemy is always more powerful, and it takes all the heroes' combined might to take them down. It's like Pokemon and DBZ put together, with multiple realities.

I loved season 1 and 2. The characters were great, it had amazing character development for a children's anime, and the amount of stories they told in a season was great. Compared to pokemon digimon had a much better plot. The movie was amazing too. 3 great stories and a great soundtrack. I remember hating season 3 because they added all knew characters and made it take place in "the real world"
