Watched it twice in one day. made me cry both times, I wish I was has brave has Welles Crowther. RIP Im now going to have a red bandana with everywhere I go <3

after watching this my advisory(homeroom) now wears a red bandanna every wednesday which we call Welles Wednesday to represent compassion, putting others first and of course for Welles. wile we wear then we put others first and do small thing to help people. This is a very sad and inspiring story. god bless him and his family and friends
Amazing, Inspiring story!!!! I found a red bandana this week! I will always think of this story when I see one! We should all do for others like Welles did that day! A true angel!
I could watch this video 1,000 time and still get chills. I was so inspired but what Welles did that I chose to write a biography on Welles for my college history class.
Welles Crowther is truly an inspiration to me. The type of man that puts others before himself. Simply because that is a part of who he is as a man and person. I had the honor of shaking his dads hand today at a Remembrance Concert in his honor and letting him know what an amazing man his son was and is. Something the Crowthers already know of course, but saying those words to his dad was my way of saying Welles you're incredible and thank you for being you. God bless you brother 344
Welles Crowther. What an inspiring story! God bless him, his family to have instilled such high courage and human spirit in him! A true American hero.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:13 What a beautiful way, wonderful, selfless way to end your life. His parents must be so proud. It's people like Welles that teach us altruism and love. <3 This is a true hero!
Honestly why would anyone dislike this? This guy was a true hero who saved lives when he knew he would die for it. It's so sad that the good die young.
Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, all those people you all "look up to" did absolutely nothing. Just because they can sing? No. This is a real hero. I hope that one day I can be like Welles. Would you go back to the 104th floor to save others when you were guaranteed to survive? I know I wouldn't have. And to those two people who clicked 'dislike'. You're just jealous of everything this kid was. Rest in peace Welles. <3
I mailed a 3 page letter to Mr. and Mrs. Crowther today. Their son and his story changed a part of me yesterday. After 10 years I can finally let go of the horrible images in my head and focus on the stories of amazing strength bravery and heroism that came from that day. God bless Welles and be with his family. God bless those that have had to survive and live on after this horrible event without their loves ones. God be with us all and help us to love each other.
My family puts on the red bandana skate every year. It's a fundraiser for him obvv but he was one of my cousins best friends and my dad coached him in hockey. Even though I don't really know him I feel like I've known him all my life he's been a part of my
i love this guy i knew him and my parents were friends with his parents. he is a true hero and i love him. i am honored to be in this video and that the skate what outstanding. R.I.P buddy you wil always be in my heart and love and wishes to your family
So proud that my college, University of Central Florida, Honored him at our game yesterday against Boston College. I saw thousands of Red Bandanas at the game and it seemed like every other person in the student section had one.
Truly inspiring hero. I saw this at school and my whole class was crying. He was courageous, selfless, and brave. RIP Wells and all the people who died in 9'11. -3
I wanna thank ESPN for airing this story, I was in HS on 9/11 and watching it all happen all on tv touched me,,,, and as a proud American and an Athlete i am not one to cry, but this video brought tears to my eyes... 9/11/01 changed my life... life became a gift, and the lives sacraficed that day become a treasure never forgotten.... thank you so much for the ones who gave their lives that day... You and your famlies will never be forgotten and will forever be in our prayers.
I have been avoiding all the 9/11 footage, stories, pictures, news, and cackling on tv for years. I just can't stand to hear people talk and throw it in others' faces the way the media does... but this is, by far, one of the most heart felt and meaningful memorials I've ever seen. Thank you Welles Crowther, and all the other men and women who risked their life, for your bravery and courage.
Dont dont think i would have it in me to be that brave. but if i ever have to be a hero, ill just ask myself, "What would welles do?". truly inspiring.
"God Bless America." I used to think of these words as blessing a nation. I now believe that it is not "America" the nation that we ask to be blessed, rather "America" the people. Welles Crowther is a true American.
I saw this is my 8th grade class today, and its truly an amazing story. It was the hardest thing i have ever done do stop my self from breaking down in the middle of class watching this. I don't think I've ever tried so hard not to cry in my life! I had to leave the class room i was so touched, so i thought id come back to this site and watch it again and really appreciate it, and i don't care if i cry now, i just let the tears come!! Thank you Welles Crowther, for being such an amazimg person!
For the rest of ur life wear a red bandana!!! please please he has done a lot...look how brave he must have been to go back in there to save more ppl!!!
