I know this is a month old 4567, but I just saw this video today and thought I'd help out. Remember KH 1? Riku was taken over by Ansem, so technically yes, he became him. Mickey tells you in KH2 that Riku covered his eyes so he wouldn't be tempted by the darkness, so he could control it and not feel plagued with lust for power, because in COM Mickey explains that the dark isn't a bad thing, but most can succumb to it, which is why Riku is unique, he can harness both dark and light.

Roxas is Sora's Nobody (created when he turned into a Heartless in KH1). Xemnas brought Roxas into the Organization XIII, but Roxas betrayed them. While running away, he met Riku, and fought with him - twice, to be more precise - in the first fight, Roxas won, but in the second, Riku started to use the powers of darkness AGAIN, and won, bringing him to DiZ (Ansem The Wise - not the Seeker Of Darkness), while awakening Sora's memories (that he lost in KH:CoM).
