  • Love this version!!!!!!!!!

  • ive watched stevei for 33 yrs and she hasnt missed a beat ,shes a true rock legend today everything is prefab and studio mixed . pretty much garbage and riding off of these groundbreakers. back then you earned your place. you who havent been there just will never know the fun and excitement of a great era gone by.thank you stevie nicks and fleetwood mac

  • Cool!! Oh yeah, that organ is really good! Neat version. Never heard this before. Thanks, flamingcrystal.

  • Never heard this lovely, haunting rendition of Gypsy before in my life; I must say it was amazing and beautiful and melancholy.

    Amazing skills Ms.Nicks; love you!!!

    (Canadian fan.)

  • Her vocals from the start up until the bridge seem like the final (and most of the after part as well). Then, the keyboards, drums, bass and guitar ..and pretty much everything else is different. It's actually more a Stevie style mix. Pretty amazing to hear this. I wish the Mac would release this stuff sorta like the Beatles did with their "Anthology" CDs. But, since we rarely buy CDs anymore, just make it part of their "official" website. I'd buy this. :)

  • this is an amazing and touching version but I'm still pleased with the final version.

  • excellent song and excellent video, i give to you 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 stars

  • bellisssima con l'Hammond...

  • LOVE this version!!!! damn all her demos are so much better for me....just raw and great!!!

  • @MrPingarick This isn't a demo. it's the actual track you hear on the radiio before final adjustments and add ons are made to spruce it up. does sound great in the raw though.

  • I think she actually looks a little like Carrie Fisher... just me?

  • @AvaMehari I agree, she does resemble Carrie Fisher.

  • I remember south park portraying her as a goat

  • I miss the yellow subscribe bar

  • Wonder if there is a vid of the 1st time she sang this after Robin died? She died Oct, 1982...I have to assume it would of been an extremely emotional performance.

  • @lovelane4 check out the Fleetwood Mac Live concert video from the Mirage tour

she picks up a yellow rose someone in the audience threw on the stage and holds the rose while she sings.... she seems very bereaverd and so bereft as she sings about seeing "your bright eyes" almost tearful as she forlornly sings her heart out~if there is a recorderd version soon after the death of her friend, Robin, this is quite possibly it

  • Absolutely amazingly beautiful. They have the best sound quality out of anyone recorded.

  • To the person who said she wished Stevie would take off the robes and platforms - I met her in just a dress and flat shoes. She is extremely short!!!! LOL And very beautiful, and very kind. She took photos with us, total strangers, and grabbed my little son's hand and held it during the photo. She's real = even with the capes and platforms on. XOXO

  • @rhiannon1984 Wondeful!

  • 14 and love this music its really not the fake crap we have no

  • MCS That wa spart of Stevie's mistique show us enough to love her and want her badly but no more just to tease us..

  • MCS That was part of Stevie's mistique you saw just enough to make you want her so badly but still teased us all.

  • I've always wished little Stevie would take some of those darned clothes off, and get rid of those awful platform shoes--but don't get me wrong--I Love Her! I just would like to see what she REALLY looks like.

  • there is dope music out there now you just need to know where to look

  • Real music? blerrugh, all music is real...and this tune and version is really great...Ms Nicks voice just gets me every-time on this track...so wonderful and elusive like the the songs character...

  • Let us not even talk about Lady Gaga in a discussion of one of the greatest bands of all time.

  • Isn't it nice to be able to listen to a white female's voice and know exactly who it is without needing the iPod to spell it out for you? I wish all were as distinctive.

  • 3 best in all female singers back then,Stevie, Ann Wilson and DEbbie Harry

  • I love this version -is it available anywhere???

  • just so smooth the song just rolls with ease. Thankee to this outstanding talent.

  • oh goodness she has such an original rich voice that is so beautiful. I love herr

  • I love u veronica I want you to no that I miss u u never really stood a change did u with all the ugly things that happened to u I love u Veronica and I won't forget u RIP Love jade

  • 1Camile.....when Ms Gaga reaches 60+ years of age and still has you as a follower, then you will know she was worth watching in the early days.

  • I love Stevie and Fleetwood Mac, but to say Gaga is horrible and talentless is just completely ignorant and stubborn. Thy two are entirely different. Gaga, too, writes her own music and has been doing it and performing for almost 10 years. They're both very talented people; they've just different styles, which is inevitable when they happen more than 30 years apart. Check out some of Gaga's acoustic stuff, just her and her piano, then let's talk.

But uh! I wish I could have seen Stevie live!

  • Stevie Nicks, ftw.

  • This song is amazing <3! If you love Stevie Nicks like I do, go on to Facebook and Like the page "Get Stevie Nicks on Oprah: The Farewell Season", or write to Oprah via email requesting it, and spred the news about it! Come on, let's get our Idol on Oprah!

  • i grew up listening to stevie. im only 13, and my mom says i knew evry word to her songs when i was only 3...id dance around to em and sing em...im amazed...i love stevie, and will never stop.

  • There's something about the look on her face at 2:40 - 2:49 ...enthralling

  • Awesome Stevie, i think Bella Donna is still Stevie's best album though. If you go to my page check out The Fleetwood mac song never been on youtube before

  • @flamingcrystal---Thanks for this true gem.

  • I'm 14. I think its so disappointing that when my generation is older parents will tell their kids about rappers. Real music is going to die.! I'm so thankful i have parents that enjoy and share with me the real music.

  • @supergrl858 my parents are the same way. thank god.

  • @supergrl858 me too im only 22 i cant stand all this new rubbish music, the old stuff is the best. rock on. :D

  • @supergrl858 music is music but the music from this era was good

  • @supergrl858

Bless you!! Bless you!!!! keep spreading to word! I will help.

  • @supergrl858 It's not only rappers, its the britany spears, and Jessica Simpsons. But yeah, real music is dead unless if you let it touch you and you spawn something new from your passion for the art..."it all comes down to you". Gotta love the the Mac. If you wanna hear a girl with a golden voice, look up Janelle Monae.

  • @pedalist49

Oh sorry. I really don't know much about current music. I just know it isn't very good. And thank you for the suggestion.

  • @supergrl858 You may see rapping as derogate. Fine. But remember music is a very subjective field .. i may love rap you may not. What's 'real' is debatable. Is 'real' having no electronic instruments whatsoever? for some purists, that maybe the case....

Learn not to compare musical forms. A true lover of music never does that. Only music critics do. And music critics usually never make any music :)

  • @supergrl858

Real music always finds its way to the heart! you are 14, but you can search back to the all music of the past and spend your life listening to the great tracks of the past. you can teach your kids to appreciate the old music.

sure it's not cool to listen to it. but one day they will appreciate it if you teach them...

  • @supergrl858 ...don't get discouraged. My teenage son just opened my eye's and ear's to "Johnny Cash". Like they say rock n roll will never die. Supergrl...you can always start your own band and bring back the music..Good luck.

  • @supergrl858 i think the internet is having a bad effect of the quality of the music, the musicien are not making song for free only the one a beeze... : (

  • @supergrl858 Dont worry too much, No one will talk about most of todays rap and pop, because it will be completely utterly forgotten, the period between roughly 95 and 2011 will appear as a strange dark void in musical history where nothing of interest occurred.

  • @Groth1175 Just like Disco!

  • @Groth1175 I agree. It seems like the last twenty years of music has been in the dark ages. There are few good artists now, but it is nothing like the 60s through mid 90s.

  • @Groth1175 my thoughts exactly the crap today they call music today is not music at all ad a letter "C" to rap and what do you have "crap" thats all it is. and i hope it's all forgotten soon very few good bands around today at fleetwood mac will always be a legend stevie rocks

  • @Groth1175 its comin' back dogzzz

this era of music is official i dont kno wat u talkin' 'bout

  • @st1stone1 This era is official? Im not sure what you mean.

  • @Groth1175 what the hell happen to you? papa roach existed and many other good bands the main differnece before from 1995 7 of 10 bands were good bands and the last 3 had a good single, nowdays music is different, 9 from 10 bands are shit, and the last 1 have only 1 or 2 good songs lol... about pop... cmon everyone here can sing pop............................

  • @Elrouss To be fair I dont know much about Papa Roach so its possible a certian number of good bands flew under my radar, especially in the 90s, there where a few inventive bands in that time that managed to become succesful. though the overwheming trend at least in North America is towards the more corporate plastic and safe, its not so much music as a product to be consumed and forgotten.

  • @Groth1175 --yeah they said the same about rock and jazz. Very common that the older generations don't understand the interest for modern music but there is a lot of quality "rap", these songs are poetry at it's best, telling tales of poverty and struggle. For you disregard all of this art and talent makes you a dark void that needs to open up a little bit. On the other hand, Stevie rocks, love her.

  • @RawPowda I wasnt clear enough, Im referring to corporate music, the kind of stuff that is sold as a consumable product and not art. I wont pretend to be an expert but im sure good "rap" exists, I even liked Gangstas paradise, its just the majority of the rap I encounter is self aggrandizing woman hating garbage. Even good "boy bands" exist today, like the Whitlams for example. The core problem is that the emphasis on marketing and profit makes everything it touches mediocre

  • @Groth1175--makes sense, a lot of rap is truly evil/negative garbage. At least we have the internet now, so we actually have a choice in finding good music elsewhere. Music of the 20th century lives in us all, from the 1940's to 1999, there was a musical awakening never before seen and so many people revisit music of the past becoming inspired for the future. Stevie inspires me to be myself, sing from my heart and believe in love, I think she's an angel....

  • @Groth1175 it's good to know that there are people out there that know ,music is a state of mind thanx for the insightful comment!

  • @Groth1175 Great. Its true fuck all this new music

  • @Groth1175 People will never forget 90s hiphop. Or 50 Cent from early 2000s. I'm not even a 50 Cent fan, but just saying.

  • @NY1love The gems will always shine through over time.
