Is there that much of a difference in accents between Minnesotans and Kansans? I'm from Kansas myself and have come to the conclusion that my accent is probably as neutral as it could possibly get. The only thing I have notice is pen is more of a "pin" and "get" is more of a "git". But there is absolutely no southern twang to it.
Soo...this is totally a normal midwestern "accent" but you talk like such a goofball it is hard to really relate to it. Haha!! No offense though!! Just a lot of personality in your speech.
i find it so interesting that while every region in the U.S seems to have its own "dialect" its own colloquial terms, and its own distinctive accent and you find so many people that come out of places like Georgia Texas, Chicago, NewYork, that have indistinguishable universal accents...cool:)-

I agree,regional accents are on there way out due to television,internet,ect. We are all headed for a neutral accent.
