This video only uses the regular first and second frets, but I would strongly recommend buying a dulcimer with a 1 1/2 fret. You can play in more keys just because of that one fret. Some dulcimer makers can actually add the extra frets with a small fee. Just add it to a dulcimer you already own!
@inranglhood60 Cool. I heard all those minor chords and saw the 1+ fret and just assumed you were using it. I've wanted a 1+ fret for some time, mainly to play more bluesy stuff. Now give me some time to learn the tune . . .
