@ooder1 refs were bad to both teams. Announcers questioned the refs on both sides during the game. Hard for me to believe in scandals being a Caps fan. Anyone who knows the history of the Caps knows things haven't been exactly great until a few years after the millennium. Caps had to build themselves into a winning team and winning teams will always find a way to succeed. NHL analysts say all the time that the Caps can't be counted out because they can battle back. Thats a winning team.

Bad call on refusing the Habs goal cause the Caps knocked the goal out of it's place. Another bad call a minute later for no imposing a penalty on the Caps goalie for knocking the goal out of it's place again.
Refs also closed their eyes on the Caps charging the Habs goalie.
It's obvious the NHL is doing everything possible to keep it's star player in the playoffs.
The officials were terrible, per usual. But, you can't blame the zebras for blowing a huge lead, then blowing another lead with under 2 to go. The Habs still had to let in the goals for the Caps to win.
My analysis: Mike Green is a huge liability in the defensive zone. Habs choked it away. And the Caps better start playin some solid d or they aren't going anywhere.

i don't mind the penalties called on the habs (other then the hall gill one which hasn't been called since the lockout let alone in the playoffs).
but it's bullshit that washington high sticked markov and then scored the tying goal.
