As far as I know, there is no way to digitally delete someone from a photo and the background be where the person was without recreating the background.

Its called photoshop. More than likely the show used a picture with the brothers added as separate layers and the girl and background as the main picture.

Although he did scan the pic which contained all of them, not two different pics. I'm just saying its possible. though very unlikely due to circumstances.
