Mushrooms and Fish from LadyWeasel

My father used to bring how puff balls he would pick on his hunting trips. The get as big a soccer balls! You could just slice them and fry them like ham steaks!

Just got myself a can of puffballs yesterday. Thatt oddity certainly tastes... odd. I'm going to give them a chance with at least a few meals though. I think some ramen, miso soup and a wok with steaming basmati rice could make an evening with those fellas :P . Thanks for the vid.

@mykylc Lol, i tried the puffballs earlier. It'll take me a good amount of time to find a proper means of preparing those thingies. Perhaps submersion in boiling water for about an hour, to soften up the outer "shell" so to speak. Would probably make things better. I had the puffballs together with ramen soup, and could tell a distinct mushroom flavour, although that interior of them turns my stomach a tad. Well, the search and experimenting continues! They don't celebrate halloween here in Greece so I always have to do sth alone, i buy my own candy, read ghost stories, find a scary movie and enjoy myself :). oh and i also wish happy halloween and ask trick or treat to my friends on facebook! being the only one to celebrate is NOT an excuse to miss out on halloween! :D

The inside of a puffball mushroom is white and changes to brown as it ages. That is why it was that color. But love the video as always. Still looking for something to send you.
