your moms envoy get 17 city and 25 hwy mpgs , a 93 firebird v6 get 17 city and 26 hwy so they would get the same milage if you stay with a 3.4 litr engine just some info for you good luck

I have a 3.4l aswell. Upgrading to the 3800 series 2.... anywho the check engine light is a bitch on the 3.4 i have done everything the code has told me is wrong... hell i even rebuilt the sucker. i believe it is detined to stay on haha.

Why did it sound like a lawn mower? I have stock and it doesnt sound half bad but mine has a wicked exhaust leak for the time beaing

The check engine light can be fixed via the PCM. You'll have to get someone that can tune it to go in and disable the light.

I just got one. Its a 5.7L. Anyway i was wondering if you have problems starting yours? mine starts when it wants to. when i turn it over all it does is click. i had the starter changed and the battery but with no luck. Any ideas?

hmmm, i thought the '93s had a tri wheel and your design was introduced in 94 which was the last year for tri rims, then 95 was last year for the 5 hole design

the song is called shapeshifter, the check engine light turned on whenever i went over a 100, the exhuast was a straight pipe which is why it didn't sound good when i made the movie

the exhaust sucks. i had that on mine (94). Get a new muffler and have them put on the second tailpipe. there is a hanger and everything for it. then see how much better it sounds..its truly unreal the difference. thats with a stock oem replacement midas muffler too.

Mine's just like that one, except it's green. Awesome car dude. Why's your SES light on? I've had problems with mine, put a new tps sensor on it, cured a running problem it had but as soon as I go over 50mph it comes back on, car still runs sweet though, any ideas? I'm over in the UK be nice to get some stateside info.

my reason was the EGR system. the v6's have a $400 digital egr, which i replaced, but the carbon breaks loose constantly in the lines and screws it up again. Get a code scanner for OBDII and it should tell you.
