Josh, how about a commentary on the likelihood of a Bloomberg candidacy. I'm getting tired of hearing certain pundits calling him "the billion dollar wildcard" and trying to hype something that'll probably never happen. What say you?
my prediction: Obama comes in first for the Dems with Edwards right behind. As for the Republicans I say Huckabee wins for the republicans with Romney right behind.
I hope Huckabee gets it because he is a racist, homophobic bastard who is SO polarizing he won't win as he will divine the country so terribly. At least I hope that will be the case.
Much of my criticism of the MSM on election coverage is that they cover the spin and the electioneering. What I would like to see is some coverage of how people are responding to issues. For example: Why are independents flocking to Obama, Image, Health Care, Anti-war. Nobody seems to be covering the "why" just the "how" of voting.
The media has totally igonred Edwards! yes, he shows third on polls but don't you guys agree that someone who comes second and gets 30% of votes deserve more coverage? It is a shame!!
I used to think "Republican" was a dirty word until I heard Ron Paul speak. The biggest obstacle for Dr. Paul has been getting his message out to others who share my former views. Bush-haters need to get past the view that any and all Republicans are neo-cons and listen to what this man has to say; upon doing so, they would realize that electing one of their beloved Democrats won't change a damn thing, but electing Dr. Paul would change everything.
It was not as Bush acted alone he had the support of most republicans. If their had not been universal support for Bush within the republican party you might have a point.
Certainly Dems are not perfect. But, do you realize that in the short time since Nov. 06, that Republican have BROKEN THE RECORD on the number of filibusters in Senate? Even if they do get something passed there is veto from Bush. Want real change? We need majority of Dems in Congress, and a Dem as pres.
From 1776 until 1973 in federal law and they actually still have some rights in some states. I don't really care about abortion I just like to screw with trolls who post disinfo. Ron Paul is not against civil rights. ontheissuesdotorg
He takes money from militant white supremacists (among other questionable organizations)and then turns around and says "Hey, It's money" to defend it.
He's written articles for white supremacist publications, gone to their functions and spoke on their radio shows.
Got a link their chief? If Paul is against abortion explain to my why he has twice voted against a federal law that would prevent minors from going to another state with more favorable abortion laws?
Look it up yourself, there is lots to see..but to entice you, here's a quote he made a few years ago...
"Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,' I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal," Paul said"
He assumed, based on race, ..making it...a racist statement.
Uh ok..good defense. You called it "nonsense" so it must be. It's in print for all eyes to see if you just look.
I suppose you'll tell me it's ok that he won't release transcripts and copies of his old publication he put out in Texas through the mid to late 1980's...and that it's ok he removed a lot of those articles from his website in 1999-2000 and refuses anyone access to them.
If you are looking for a link that is not a blog I can save you some time. A few days ago I went through over one hundred pages of google hits on ron paul racism and you won't find one. You might try starting there but if it existed it would have had enough hits to come up in that space. Paul has been speaking out against racism and you can find speeches going back to 1992.
Never met him personally but I have lived in his state for 18 years and I know a lot about him and this blog crap is nonsense. He refused to return a 500 dollar check. Pretty hard to do that and then go out and campaign on the constitution and the amendments which include the 1st wouldn't it?
Look I watched some of your vids and you seem like a nice guy but I just don't agree with you.
Racism, abortion, religion aside Ron Paul is not good for the country in my opinion.
The reason I'm voting for Obama is because Obama wants to bring us together, as a country, America...Paul wants to bring us back to being just "states", red and blue or whatever color.
I want a Country to be proud of..not just a collection of states. I want to go forward..not back.
This all sounds right to me but I think we could be seeing McCain, Huckabee and Mitt bouncing around for a while. It will be interesting to see who Rudy or Thompson throw their votes to, and they do actually have some...the GOP is so fractured that 15% here or there matters. And if Rudy drops, who wins New York? Stuff like that is up in the air right now...
It's true, Hillary isn't out of this race; but I don't see how she'll beat Obama. Barack has with him momentum and inspiration...that's almost impossible to beat.
I'm not sure what there is to talk about - he's trailing badly in New Hampshire and even South Carolina. I like Edwards, but I don't see any scenario where it is isn't over for him.

Ron Paul doesn't support Civil Rights and He's against abortion.
I don't vote for pro-lifers that want Roe V Wade overturned and take money from racists organizations then turn around and defend it.
