Does this mean that Political Scientists know very little about conducting scientific experiments...I guess so. also it's just the fight or flight response. I'd like to think people cast their votes without adrenaline running through thier veins.

Not only is this substandard research, the fact that it was carried out at all speaks volumes about the biases of the researchers and academia in general. Who gave them a grant, anyway? Is this the kind of shit we waste money on?

Interesting theory, but looking at the methodology of the experiment in the abstract, his hypothesis is not scientifically supported. Unfortunately this is simply weak science. the N value was far too low, not from varied backgrounds or ethnicities, and people were recruited based on political beliefs (strong).

Excellent video. The greater message you guys cannot openly speculate on because you may be perceived as bias can be said by your commentors. When unruly leaders create the spectre of threat, it tends to socially engineer what actions people take to find a comfort level--and that action may take place at the polling stations.
