Hi; Sam I really want to know & speak this language but i'm confused i dont know how to start. i will appreciate that for you if you give me some guides and advices.
@harakaish :-) keep visiting this channel, go through all the videos AND once you are done, visit my new channel called OneAfricaner. I'm posting new videos starting tonight
Hi, on every other language, the linguist is sitting still, presenting the words or phrases clearly so that it can be enunciated properly and. Also, the use of text would be helpful because of your accent. I really wish to learn this language, however, it seems more videos are geared toward music as a learning tool?? Why is that??
@HearNSee1 : Before I started using songs to teach, no one taught Swahili using songs.
I learnt other languages using songs.... it is easy to memorize a song, then find meaning of the song. So if you know about 4 or 5 songs of any language you are ahead of most pupils in class... but if you are not musically inclined this is not the right path.
All my videos have text, plase turn on your "CC" Closed Captioning. Thanks
@GeeBeehamilton where are you watching the videos from? Turn on Closed Captioning and you will see the words. I think however youtube CC does not work on smart phones yet
thank you for making these videos! they have been very helpful to me, keep them coming! If you could, could you put captions like you did in previous videos? That helps soo much! Asane sana!!
@shmuckley Thanks, and glad they help... my son is now 1, and sleeping some what in a pattern that will allow me to spring back and put captions and other forms of aids to help every one.. thanks for the kind comments
