MMEB sub 1's were made in the usa....in San Luis Obispo, CA.....they quit making them in 2006.
Your best bet is finding a clean one in Ebay....
Usually between 375-500$ depending on condition. Very nice guitars....they were a "middle of the road" cost guitar that sold for about 650$+ street price....
I recommend the hell out of this guitar.

Yes, but the double humbucker model is discontinued.
