it is easy to tell when a chicken is in pain...because they constanty are moving and making noise....and when hens lay eggs they feel no pain...only pressure....a hen laying an egg is just like a human going to the bathroom .
This is a sickness, it is called "Chickenfux". Most whom do videos like this are commonly refered to as Chickenfuxologists, those whom become aroused by way of Chickenfuxology. There is no known cure for this ailment, extreme cases have been documented whereas the inflicted run around repeatitively proclaiming "ANYCOCKELDO, ANYCOCKELDO, ANYCOCKELDO" (whilst scratching oneself's groin). One should protect oneself from said w/ a FoxFur (See Furries gone wild video 2007 West Hollywood Edition)
Dude, the ones you eat are unfertilized eggs. The process of expelling an unfertilized egg is akin to menstruations (where a woman expels, guess what? An unfertilized egg!)
Yes, except that it's not like having a baby for a woman to expel her unfertilized eggs. For the hen, though, it is exactly like having a baby... every day!
Chickens and all other birds don't have vaginas. However, female birds do have an oviduct, and they can experience a problem called "egg binding" which is sort of like constipation with an egg, and can be dangerous for the hen too. This video though shows a normal egg laying.
No, it doesn't hurt a hen the same way, because hens can lay an egg almost every day, while human mothers these days have two or three babies several years apart and say they can't take it anymore and stop having children! Obviously it's much easier on the hen. Chickens are very sensitive birds and they don't get any more upset than to cackle a bit after laying an egg. And a healthy woman who has many children finds childbirth easier too! Ask any mother of 10! :)
you would think it would be easier for them to lay one since they lay so many, but she looks like she was struggling anyway. it is amaxing the eggs dont crack as they drop too.

It is probably not painful because since they go through this everyday they were adapted to this condition of excessive laying.
