this show is 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000 better than all the shit of today and yes am talking about those stupid shows of fox and warner
@TheEdRock77 wouldnt down play all your tv shows mate ...as a Brit I can tell you there were some great USA shows shown over here in the 80'/90's "moonlighting ..ABC, M Vice...Universal, Dukes of Haz....(not sure who did that..), ermmm Airwolf....Universal I think, Magnum, The Fall Guy, The Equalizer, .....even today ABC has fone itself proud with Desperate Housewives........yummyy
I thought milk run was ok,but that ending i saw coming from a mile away.Yeah, you could say the same thing about forgive us our debts, but it was a lot more subtle, and it was brilliantly misdirected the whole episode.Powerful, but a bit of a predictible cautionary tale
I thought this song was from the best episode of Miami Vice. It still gives me chills at the end... The slow motion, the horrific look on Crockett's face, the shock of the best friend (Lewis), the sadness of Crockett over the broken promise that he tried so hard to keep.
Tubbs: (sadly) "Let's go get the car.'
Crockett: (in shock) "Yeah, let's go get the car..."
Fade to Black with the haunting melody of Rain playing...
Everytime i'm listening that track i see a little boy with his father,in the 80's,watching the tv,and dreaming on those beautiful cars and this America where everything is possible...now this little boy is an adult,in the 10's,and he think about those great souvenirs every-day...
@ropx30 Well said!!!!!!!!!! I feel the same way!!!!!! @ that time i was a boy too. Just the same memories, priceless!!!!!!!! I love EVERYTHING about the 80's!!!!!!! Esspecially The USA and his great music, cars.......if we could only turn back the time......
Thanks a lot for posting this-----even as a teenager in the 1980's during the original Miami Vice episodes this background riff really made an impact on me. Jan Hammer has made my life at least 0.2% more enjoyable-----and that's actually a hell of a lot!
This song reminds me of the pc game axysnake, god, that monster used to scare the hell out of me...
