I have shut off ten grownups on YouTube because I couldn't stand their versions of this song. So many are too overdone, way too slow, over-dramatic, full-of-themselves. But this Beautiful, PURE voice is the BEST I've heard out of 20 of the supposedly "Greats". (I shut off Mahalia Jackson - Bring on BENJAMIN !!!! )

As for Ben, WOW, as a professional myself let me encourage you to continue to get coaching for that wonderful instrument of yours. Not only did you do a great job, you have learned to continue singing no matter what even when the organist tries to through you off!! Sorry, but, this kid deserves someone better backing him up!! Get some coaching to help you as your voice changes, keep that amazing voice.

Yes, Benjamin deserved a proficient accompanist. He is a wonderful boy soprano with a well controlled professional vibrato. I pray that if he is not yet being coached he find someone who specializes in childrens' voices to help his talent grow. He seems to also be at ease performing in front of the congregation.
Benjamin, you have a wonderful and beautiful voice. Keep singing praises to the Lord. This song would have been better had the organist practiced his music.
