The DJ played this song at my Dad's 5th wedding reception. Let me tell you. That reception went from "typical wedding etiquette to "awwww shit!" as soon as you heard the first note. You could hear everyone's forks hit their plates as about 500 chairs slid out. Every seat was empty. Everyone from one to 92 was doing their own thing on the dance floor. I can only hope that one day my music will affect people this way.

I'm believin that Chuck Brown is the Godfather of Go-Go music in DC. Saw these brothers perform at Duff-A-Go-Go in Suitland Maryland back in '77 before they hit big.
