I own a bluevelo Quest and have manage to maintain average speeds of 55-60 km/hr against a 20-25 MPH headwind for 2-3 hrs at a time. It is almost impossible on a road bike to achieve similar average speeds unkess you are riding a road bike on a peloton or with a tailwind downhill. The Quest velomobile has been the best bike investment I have made without a doubt!
@alanhoffman maybe they are fun for older people, but i like riding fast, jumping over curbs, sliding across the grass and downhill drifting xD i like adrenalin when it comes to cycling. i also love off road
There's too many idiots in the U.S. that want to pretend that the 1950's never ended to allow for this kind of change. Most people in the U.S. would prefer to ridicule innovation than embrace it.
Very cool. I wish there were some in Michigan to try out...

@cro508 It's a different thing. I've got two-wheeled bikes too. Have fun!

@cro508 Velomobiles are pretty fun. 45+ km/h on flat ground is a hoot.

Great piece.
I love those things!
Why are the Europeans having all the fun?
We need more here in the states.
