@ONEROADTOHEAVEN The same things was said of John the baptist in the same sura. Peace be upon him the day he was born the day he dies and the day he is raised. Both were born, both will die and both will be risen on Judgment day. Jesus (pbuh) in the Quran never died on the cross nor was crusified. Someone else was put in his place.

@IslamAnswersBack I agree the part about rising again refers to the day of judgement when everyone who had lived and died will rise again. It is not to be confused with the christian belief of Jesus rising from the dead two days following his death on the cross.

Meaning peace be upon him on the day which he was born on the day he will die and then again on the day he is raised from the dead. Pay attention to the literary tools used in the book or you will continue to make errors. A Man can speak of an inevitable event like death with certainty it will happen even if it has not happened yet.

It is not referring to the resurrection of Christ days after he was killed as what Christians believe. It is referring to the day he will be brought back to life along with all other creation to be judged by Allah on the day of judgement. I can assure you that no true Muslim would deny any part of the Quran. Islam means "submission to god" entirely and not partially.

When we say "Muslim" Muslim means one who submit themselves to the will of God. Would you deny that Jesus submitted his will to God or was one who did not submit himself to the will of God thereby a sinner. We are Muslims and so was every prophet of God.

correct me if i'm wrong but isn't there a mistake in the translation at 1:47, shouldn't it be it befits... why is there a not?

That was from "Noble Quran" Translation.

"It befits not (the Majesty of) Allāh that He should beget a son"

Saheeh International says, "It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son;"

I am currently remaking this video. I did this when my Arabic was really weak. There are better English translations of the Quran these days.

No because "It befits" means that it actually befits Allah swt to beget a son. However when you say "It befits not", it means that it actually does not befit Allah to get a son, which is correct (according it's writings in the Quran). So it is proper to say "It befits not", whereas it is a grave error to say "It befits...".

So in conclusion, it's right the way it is written there.

Excellent recitation! The way of how the verses that retell the dialog between Ibrahim and his father is recited really makes me feel as if I were there. Not many people are able to recite the Quran and create an almost hypnotizing effect to its listeners.

Thank you for watching the video. Of course our religions differ. Salvation for Muslims rests on worshiping God alone and that He has no partners and only He is our Lord.

For Christians salvation rests on accepting Jesus as Lord and belief that God came down as a man.

If there was not this difference then it would not be two different religions.

We generally ask the non Muslim to use reason and pray to the Creator for Guidance. emotional commitment can only come after knowing the truth.

When I made part one I was not thinking of making part 2. It was hard to make the first one. Then a few brothers on youtube were asking some begging for part2. I asked them to make dua for me because making these videos are hard. Finding the video sequences timing translation and splitting the ayat in appropriate spots. I hope Allah accepts it. I am working on part 3 now. 2 minutes of it is done. I will release it in a month or two. I will work on it until i cannot find anyway to make it better.

i listen to surah maryam almost everyday.

What i like about ur format is , u have arabic and english with clear fonts .which are easily readable unlike others . to me it doesnt matter whats in the background,might as well give a black background as long as i can read the english & arabic fonts. Also i like it that u make it in simple english (no thee thou ) , would be better if u could add

tafsir , but thats just asking for too much i know.
