  • it wont let me import video files and i have imovie, corel painter 11, adobe creative suite 2 with all the programs, and other stuff, but it wont let me import movies,or i would do it frame by frame, if you know how could you please let me know? i sure would appriciate it. thank you

  • @JesseKing1981

You have to import your video into premiere.. then export as a filmstrip file. then you can import that file into photoshop and rotoscope each frame. Keep your segments small 20sec or less at a time to keep the file size low , and to keep your memory usage for photoshop down.

  • thank you so much man, your video helped me alot...i was wondering if you know how to make movies with the lightsabers in them, i would love to see how to do that

  • @JesseKing1981

I do, and I have considered making a movie but the method I use is old school and I am not fluent with newer methods.. The old method I used was to capture my video and export it from premier as a filmstrip file and paint each frame one by one. then import the saved filmstrip back into premiere.

  • Hey you really helped my brother (EvilPikachuStudios)

  • nice and clever, and easy as well , thats why we love it

  • neat and better than the 10 min vid i saw somewhere else.

  • Outer Glow is very much different from blur separates layers.

Outer Glow is fine with photos, but for motion/video I suggest using separate layers for maximum control of your glow.

Outer Glow and Separate Layer Methods have different reactions when swung and when idle, so I guess it's just a matter of effort and personal preference.

  • thank you so much fo your help,i can do it now -YaY-

  • i couldn't hear this even turned up fully

  • thanks man. i alwas wanna make this :)

  • its good, but could you try speaking a little lounder, its hard to hear when u got a midget bro (Yakkaman no.2) runnning around the house

  • This is just for pictures man. You should try asking around for a tutorial on videos.

  • If you want to do this for movies get a program like EffectsLab. It has special tools designed specifically for making light saber effects. It's really easy.

  • meh...i like my way...but this is still good info..so take notes people

  • is ur way the, not once, not twice, but thrice?

  • Thanks I hope it helps everyone who wants to make sabers that look great and are easy to make..:)
