ya that's what im thinking, I think he's trying to hard to sing clean, he needed to relax more. But I mean if you listen to Queen City Station his voice sounds good, so I don't know, I stand by the trying to hard.
Don't do in the studio what you can't even come close to executing live. I understand how hard touring can be and the strain it puts on your voice, but most other vocalists can at least sound decent. This guy is so terrible it distracts from the song as a whole, which is actually a really good song.
People should stop complaining about his voice he was on tour for a long time and it takes an effect on your voice not just that the videos don't seem to capture vocals correctly so this might have sounded different if you were actually there also watch some of their other live videos

@Konfucius25 He didn't get booted he left because his vocals couldn't take the growls or anything. So he left and started a band where he could just sing and everything. I saw IDT back in '06 at the begining of the tour and he sounded really good. But to be honest I'm not really into the Jason singing for them. He's not bad I just don't care for him for some odd reason.

He isn't trying to sound "more metal", during a tour your voice gets alot of work, it takes alot of abuse, which means that you won't be able to hit notes as high as you did when you were just in the studio. He's doing the best he can with that i think, that chorus is a pretty high vocal range
Nick lost his voice on Ozzfest actually. Thats when he started drinking, and became a HUGE problem...it fucked up his vocals and was a big key as to why he's not in the band anymore.

1 nick did amazing for this band look how far they got,sure sirens was nowhere near as good as forever scorned but it was still awesome, 2 jason did save the band and the new album is fucking brutal, they both deserve a lot more credit

haha nick was such a terrible live vocalist...I saw them 3 times with nick and I admit he had a great screaming voice..but when a clean singing part came he was AWEFUL. jason can sing and scream hes a much better vocalist and performer
