@zachIQ Well Remilia moved the Scarlet Devil Mansion to Gensokyo (which is why it clashes with the land). She probably is really from China, but moved with the SDM to Gensokyo.

Not all youkai are japanese.
Youkai is pretty much a collective term for the whole lot of demons, oni, spirits, and the like.
Despite us knowing remilia is a vampire she is still considered a youkai and she's from Europe
