I was a big fan of this guy but not anymore.If you can see, Yanic repeats himselfs.He memorized some rhythms and fills and combines them. It seems that he cannot be able to improvise. I can say he is not a "drummer" and is a "drum machine".

this band has had 3 main line ups

the old one with bart, remy, arie, and yanic

defiant line up with stephane, bart, yanic and steve(forest live) and will. then they got MAG to do the live stuff in like 2006

and now the new one with patrice from martyr on drums. roxanne on bass, and the one who sucks on vocals

in my opinion the best line up was the one with stephane

if you're talking about quo vadis, you mean new everything but bart the lead guitarist. pretty much every time they tour and record they use someone new. i still think the dvd features the best line up... but thats just my opinion, man

@cornethead Seeing as Bart writes most of the music and the idea of the band is for you to enjoy the music, not worship the name are reasons enough to think the "band" is still present.

split up!? interesting, they played in Osijek(croatia) this friday.. .. they didn't split up, they changed their line up! as much as I know they have a new singer and drummer.. ..

basicly same name but all diff members specially the drummer is gonne .. the old fomation was kick ass n nothing will beat it...

Bart is still there. He rebuilt the line up but it's a big fail. They will never get back Yanic Bercier and Dominic Forest Lapointe's sound.. The new part of element of the ensemble they made is crap.. Bart was in the formation that kicked ass.. but now he sounds as crappy as the new formation.

They never split up man. They're touring in Quebec right now.

Yanic left the band and Patrice Hamelin is now their drummer.
