Mickey had little time to prepare for this role. So, in order to really get into the character fast, he was all dressed like that, make-up and everything, on the frigging plane that took him to the set. A little boy sitting close to him burst into tears when he saw him.

haha, just listening to Mickey Rourke is great! the way he says "Mother Fucker" its got that edge to it. "Hey you.. you go get mama a cafe latte and delly donut seeboo-pwaay" haha the way he's pronouncing some of his words is hilarious. assuming its cuz of his front teeth missing. GOLD.

Rourke can communicate so much with just a few words and gestures. Just from this 1:30 min clip you can get a real feel and sympathy for this character - a prisoner inside his body, which is inside a prison .... many layers of hell.

Wow Mickey Rourke is sooo fucking Brave to play such a Gay Guy. He's funny though - he went dressed as that on an airplane to the shoot. He said " it was before 9/11 so I got away with it!!"
