i have a golden named maggie...i have had her since i was 3 years old and i love her. she is the only dog i've ever had, she is just as blonde as this puppy zoey. Although shes almost 13 shes not nearly as playful :/ i miss the days when i would chase her around the yard and play tug of war... goldens are the nicest sweetest dogs in the world thumbs up if you agree!

Labrador or golden retriever, both are wonderful dogs! I have one Labrador and one golden and love them to death. I must say I'm attached more to my Lab because he's been with me since he was only 3 weeks old, he slept with me at that time...he sees me as his mommy^^ he follows me everywhere and loves to be by my side...he only shows affection towards me, while my golden came when he was 3 months old, and he shows affection to everyone he sees!. Best dogs ever! oooh your dog is so cute <3

@mekl5 - there's no such thing as a short-haired Golden Retriever. Many breeds do have both long and short-coated varieties, but the Golden Retriever isn't one of them, and there are no long-haired Labs.

Zoey's coat looks short in this video because she's damp - look at her ears, though, that fur is too long for a Lab. If you look at the other videos (like "Zoey in the tub with water"), you can see the feathering on the back of her legs that's characteristic of Golden Retrievers.
