  • I got a boner.

  • Gay speakers, mine are better.

  • @n00baTr00pa trollolol

  • @angelite143 Lol you know you have good speakers when your main speakers are larger than your sub, my set cost me about ~$1400 including the amp...haha

  • Should i buy theese? - they cost around 200 euros in Denmark, or will you recommend something else? :) Thanks,

  • if you have mony buy it

  • this is the best pc speakers ,god job corsair .

  • 13:49 That stare...

  • junk

  • I am using a Corsair RAM, PSU and these speakers, I just wish the inserts where RED instead of blue.

Also Corsair you need to make your Obsidian case big enough for the new XL-ATX BOARDS!!!

I dont like the HAF-X but I got no choice, the Obsidian AND Silverstone Raven cant hold XL ATX's yet.

  • @xchrisbobisx

    oops forgot

using the Corsair Force GT SSD also in my build. (which is red color too)

  • Made in china quality brand.

  • @TheArcade12 Are you stupid? Corsair is one of the best companies around.

  • Robin Williams!!!

  • @jewie27 LMAO!!!! First thing that came to my mind at the 1st glimpse of this video.

  • I'm looking at buying this soon. That Sub does take up a lot of space under the desk though.

  • Cool, Looking speaker....

  • I upgraded from 3.5mm -> RCA stereo set-up in 2003. Only optical, coax, or HDMI digital audio for me. I can't believe they want over $200 for that and don't offer any digital inputs. The satellites themselves need their own amps and power source. Then they'd be true 'monitor' speakers. This kit should be $49. And offer MIR...

  • awkward stares from the guy....

  • get some lav mics, yikes.

  • i hate creative drivers they are a pain in the ass to go with... May i ask are the Asus Xonar drivers or maybe the Auzentec drivers better?

  • @zer0l0w in case u didnt find the answer yet, auzentech uses creative drivers while asus uses different drivers so i would assume that asus drivers are better based on what i've heard

  • I've had my Creative speaker system for 7 years now and they still works fine. Planing on upgrading to this now though ;)

  • If I don't use a sound card, will the audio still sound good?

  • @EWColaCanada it will sound fine, but i would reccomend at least a $50 dollar chip, like a creative xi-fi or something. then it will let these speakers shine. using onboard sound, u should get a cheaper setup

  • can i listen to dat dubstep in high quality with this?

  • @iBobDaBuildah I've heard it's very good for music ;)

  • i would love to have a speaker system like this but be able to use my headphones for sound and then still have the bass from the sub. if they made somthing like that i would pay the money for it. cuz i would like to have both options, like when i play online games i use headphones so people dont have to hear the music in the backround but i would still like to have bass. so untill they make somthing like that i wont ever buy and expensive speaker set up for my computer.

  • @Dandude340 What? That's super easy! I already do that. Use a splitter. I have 5.1 headphones, the "sub" cable from the headphones plug into one female port on the splitter and my floor subs plug into the other female port and then you plug the splitter's male end into the motherboard/sound card. That way you can feel and hear the bass. I have 2 1000 watt car subs for my computer which runs off a 2000 watt car amp powered by a computer power supply which has three 12v 30amp rails.

  • Linus sucks at interviewing, but generally his videos are great :)

  • @hedgehog1965uk Linus is like Screech from Saved from the bell =)

  • Clean balance sound for gamers. I am impressed a PC speaker company even came up with the idea. Thank you.

  • Quality of Corsair products is always very high but 250$??? WTF?? My 7.1 700W Creative GigaWorks S750 cost ~450$ :D

  • @iMasterFreez Quality over quantity mate. Yes 700W is thumping but what this is going for is clean sound. My current system is only 600w but cost $1K.

  • 250 dollars? oh crap i was thinking in 80 dollars! damn!

  • Just going to throw this out there, but when I game I prefer to use a 5.1 speaker setup. It's a whole lot easier to determine where something is when you have 4 speakers producing a different position.

I paid $90 AUD for my Logitech 5.1, and they work perfectly fine and are loud enough to make the neighbours tell me to shut up.

  • @jamiegoodwin89 muddy base is all i can say

  • I have Corsair RAM and the H50 cooler and they are superb and well built and had no problems as of yet with Corsair, I must say Corsair is now like mercedes or ferrari in the car world to us PC builders :)

  • ummm logitech z-5500's are out there! How can this guy say there is nothing out there

  • @puffydogg Oh, yes z-5500 is thumping, but the amount of noise and balance is a joke. This should sound cleaner and better highs.

  • My ProMedia 2.1 can walk all over this toy.

  • bullshit they wanted to make more money wtf there were no speakers on the market , bullshit .

  • if they are going for accurate bass why would they use a ported box. The response of the woofer is all in the box. They should have gone with a sealed box. Also with movies and games they use very low sounds, lower than 30hz, so the box needs to be tuned very low or the subwoofer will unload and can be damaged at higher volumes

  • the sub is that big because they expect you to put your feet up, and relax to good music

  • @pookeyrulz OH MY GOD I REALLY DO THIS !!!1111111112222333

  • @pookeyrulz thats where i rest my feet too:)

  • I actually am a music producer and am doing the score for an indy game and i can say with confidence that these may be good for a listener but NOT for a producer. We need highly precise frequency response and with those small speakers it's just not quite up to par. Also we generally don't produce with a sub woofer on because it can exaggerate the bass in the mix if it's not tuned to the system correctly. So I would say great system for the gamer but not for the producer =)

  • @RedRavenRuler No, you can't, have you even listened to these speakrs? Being an audiophile and producer myself it's really possible these can be exceptionally top notch, next time try before you say anything. =)

  • Do want!

  • the marketing director is like talking of a bible. everything has the same answer... that stupid woofer question was answer twice in the exact same manner. == marketing ppl are super boring when they only know how to use the same point over and over again and don't know anything else

  • lol! a program about an audio product with an horrible audio quality! :)

  • I have a question........ Why is it when Linus interviews a guest he always looks like he cant keep a straight face. Like hes about to break up laughing or like he secretly has some kind of joke about the guy that was told before the dude came on. Dude get your game face on and stop fiddle farting around its annoying.

  • Oh my gawd , those are my dream speakers...

  • Audio Designers would die laughing if you would market this to them. lol. Please marketing people be honest.

  • amBX are the coolest speekers

  • corsiar man doesn't agree!

  • will corsair be coming out with a 5.1 solution?

  • dunno why, but he reminds me of a very young and ...smaller gabe newell

  • buy cheap - buy twice

  • Sennheisser PC350 ftw

  • Repeats at 5:54

  • I don't think they made the sub enclosure quite large enough o.O

  • I hope they don't use these as the standard for gaming. A surrond-sound headset should be the standard.

  • That is one big ass sub!

  • Aethetics D-

    Price C+

    Audio Quality B-

Verdict.. a PASS. Better buys for similar price points from well established proven speaker players. Logitech, Klipsch, and as was already pointed out, NO gamer worth their salt uses speakers anyway

  • @photosinmiami

Thats bullshit dude. It is true that for intense FPS games nothing beats a headset, but sometimes you just don't wan't to wear it and its good that you are getting the same sound or close to the same sound either way. BTW: Why are aesthetics a D-? Because it's got a big sub woofer? Did you ever think that the hardware inside requires a big housing? The satellites are designed to match their 600T case and look good in my opinion.

  • @photosinmiami you dont like surround sound?

  • why would gamers buy speakers? this company is crazy 99.999% gaming users use headphones...

ps: they are expensive as fuck!

  • It's unprofessional to look into the camera Linus

  • still don´t think it sounds as good as my 1000€ system

  • This sounds like a HSN/QVC informational

  • gay

  • nice vid but logitech z-5500 5.1 is better then this

  • @gmosneanu Thank you for your words of wisdom Kanye.

  • Comment removed

  • I would need a bigger Sub Woofer.

  • linus, don't keep looking at the camera when people talking with you LOL so weird.

  • 5:18 & 6:10

    are you drunk linus?

  • very well said

  • The price for this 2.1 system is ridiculously high... I rather shed an extra $150 or so for a 5.1 system

  • what about watching porn???

  • @Jubiejai NO!!!! 7.1 surround Full HD ;-D

  • That Sub Woofer is too small, do you do a larger one?

  • I don't think that Corsair will win in the Audiophile market. In the mainstream market, probably yes, but in the more niche market of audiophiles, they will have to go stiff competition such as Audioengine, Swan and much others. I have a pair of Audioengine A2 2.0 speakers and not only they sound amazing and clear for their size, they also are very portable. Although it doesn't have a sub, the bass is tight, crisp, clean and clear but not overpowering.

  • This would be nice... if the price wasn't so high..

  • 7.1 home cinema conected to pc is much better !!!

  • he made a good point about speakers being not much in the market.

Creative is one big specialty. sonic gear is crap.

  • Wow. I haven't heard anyone mention the Spice Girls in ten years...

  • 8:30.. that joke totally died :L

  • Comment removed

  • corsair = quality brand

  • @isyutd159 true... true :D

  • would recommend this speaker and brand to anyone!!

  • I've preorder it :D

  • Is there any background noise in the speakers??

  • wait so your saying these are monitors? sorry bud, i've heard genelecs before, and i doubt these will compare. they could, but i don't think they will. especially in that price range. and if they were monitors, they wouldn't be applicable for games.

  • how can a 2.1 system be for gaming? you cant hear people sneaking in from the back then?

  • @vogter2605 You're likely to use good quality headphones for gaming over speakers. 2.1 system sounds FANTASTIC (imo) for just general game playing where knowing where the enemy is coming from is not a huge deal.

Most pictures I've seen people put all five monitors on their desk where 5.1 is going to sound best when you put the rear speakers.. behind you not on the side of the front speakers.

  • guys dont make fun of david beckham the talent he has nobody else does..

  • I like to watch all of the videos on Linus' two channels, but those with a guest speaker have been uninteresting. That is neither a knock to Linus or his guests, though. Honestly, I got enough info in his unboxing of this product to make an educated decision about them, and a lot of what is said in this video was already mentioned by Linus.

  • You can get excellent 5.1 sound for $150 less from Logitech.

  • @jblackrupert Used for $150 maybe but Logitech speakers are far from excellent.

  • @DevalTA

WRONG. Logitech X-540 5.1 speakers sell for $100 brand new.

  • @jblackrupert Oh my bad, I thought you were talking about the z5500. The x540 is NOT excellent sound.

  • you want a speaker system for your pc easy choice logitech z5500 !

  • rubbish it looks shit its way to big, its corsair,,, ram, psu corsair will be my first choic,,, but sound naaa

  • i have my main pc hooked up to my 7.2 channel amp, wich consists of 2x 12inch active subs,4 tower speakers,1x center speaker and 2x surround speakers. this corsair system does probably sound great but for me its not enough power.

  • wow, that was a great 15min advertisement for these speakers.

I love how the questions were all lead ins to what basically sounded like a bad infomercial. There must be a lot of markup on there (or it could be corsair is just really into advertising now)

I have to say I am disappointed that this is what the channels turning into.

  • For a 2.1 kinda expensive

  • I have a 5.1 surround system with more features and costs about only 50$ more.Whats wrong with the picture here

  • @MrCpuclocker Implying that features = quality. Try again.

  • @Jallandhara how about I put it this way better features and better overall setup

  • @Jallandhara also if u have a setup where u can't connect anything to it what r u paying the 250$+ for

  • maybe corsiar should make a book shelf speaker instead of 2.1???

  • @Haksu77 All I'm saying is everyone's knocking them here yet most of these people have never HEARD them in real life. WTF is the point of that? They could be the best sounding PC speakers ever made and these people would still be ripping on them because of the price.

  • @Haksu77 First of all... they aren't 2.0 speakers. Secondly have you ever heard them? No? Hrm.

  • 250$? no thanks..

  • Everyone is just jealous that they didn't get to write first xD

  • Oh Please gimme my Z5500 Digitals anyday!

  • Comment removed

  • This guy has no idea what he's talking about.

  • wow id really love to have the huge ass box in my house

  • Over $250 for 2.1 speakers........ COMPLETE RIPOFF.

  • @jblackrupert Has Corsair ever put out anything that wasn't stellar? Everything they put their name on has been great product. Best Power Supplies period, Some of the best Cases, Some of the best RAM, great all in one water cooling kits for a low price... so yeah. You've never heard these speakers in real life so how can you say they're a ripoff? I'm willing to bet these rape %99 of "PC speakers" out there. If they don't... it would be surprising and a big mistake for Corsair.

  • askhim why they did not went 5.1 ?

  • It's no secret that real Hifi - Equipment blows that plastic PC shit (called Logitech, Corsair, Creative...) away anytime.

  • HOW CAN PEOPLE MAKE OPINIONS WHEN THEY HAVEN'T HEARD IT IN REAL LIFE. GOD I SEE THIS ALL THE TIME. STUPID BIASED PEOPLE ARE STUPID.

  • what happened, at 5:05 and 5:54? deja vu much?

  • i kinda like how the guy is making a 10 min sales pitch for the corsair audio products and calling them the new reference. when they got a total of 4 audio products. as opposed to a company like creative who have been designing audio equipment for years. i got a old pair of cheap 30$ creative 2.1 speakers and for some purposes they even sound better that my 450$ 5.1 system.

i don't believe that guy until i try it myself. his answers is too much. bla bla bla bla bla....

  • LOL @ PEOPLE WHO HAVE Z-5500 THINKING THEY HAVE A TOP QUALITY AUDIO PRODUCT

    DUMB CUNTS

  • lol anime movies all cool people know they are called OVA's

  • WHO IS YOUR DADDY AND WHAT DOES HE DO

  • @manhunt48 the fact that you bring anything related to "Sex" to the internet means you probably aren't getting any putang. Linus I'm happy you have Corsair rep's on your channel great company.

  • I'm an audio engineer and found this very funny, you forget how nerdy you are about sound kit until you try to explain to someone whos not a pro! Glad Corsair is stepping into the market but I won't be buying them as I have some ADAM S3X's xD

  • in soviet russia speakers listens to u

  • @mu4me1

i thumb down u coz ur a fag

  • @Gundam00Raiser75 and you are mad

  • @mu4me1 you are a fag....

  • @Ksquaredgaming and you are mad

  • @GrimTheToad and you are......also a fag, yes?

  • @mu4me1 thumbs up 4 your arse

  • stoped watching after 6:48 cuz all i wana know is the sub size. its most likely like a 5 inch lol with a huge box or a 8 inch.

    z5500's FTW

  • @staticxmako Dude, I hear the bigger the sub the better d00d, you got 15's in that motha?! WHAAAT it must sound so AWESOME.

A larger sub does NOT equal better bass, it makes more boom.

The Logitech system is mediocre at BEST.

  • You need 5.1 and 2.0 now

  • hahaha i thought it was robin williams. XD

  • @incognitostatus An overweight nerdy robin williams.. No offence :D

  • I can't listen to this, i'm too drunk. it's friday night linus, damn.

  • @menmuvilkets HOLY SHIT....you too? i thought it was just me....

  • @menmuvilkets i didnt know drunk people could type with great punctuation and grammar.

  • @GayForJC There is a 100% resonable explanation for that. I am from Sweden and I strive for making it un-noticeable.

  • @GayForJC Even if I'm drunk apparently.

  • I know that guy from somewhere.

  • @kevinsdb1 He looks like Robin Williams to me

  • lol Corsair had to send a rep because Linus' videos were so bad

  • I think theres a section that is repeated, shame on the editior

  • Have the Logitech Z-5500 so dont need this but it is nice to see that corsair is stepping into the market. They do work in everything they do so why not join in on this lacking market.

  • Hahaha fail american team :P

  • Is the Corsair SP2500 engineered in-house in the Corsair facilities or is it just a rebranded product?

  • it's the "GAS" SP250, it must push alot of air...

  • LOOOL: and frankly we beat them(cocky, but no doubt true)

  • I highly doubt that guy uses his speakers for music. I mean I'm sure they're great but whos he fooling lol? he he's a bloody audiophile I'm sure he has some kickass headphones wich pown his sp2500. Still nice to finally see "gaming grade" get another name in the audio world than POS. I mean I couldn't get a gaming headset because they all suck(exept the sennheisers, but they're fugly).

  • @Malius1000 Headphones? I'm sure he has a decent pair of speakers! If your looking for some headphones get some beyerdynamic DT250s!

  • @dielbe I don't want to boast but my sennheiser hd 650s are a good deal better than those dt250s ;)

  • LOL the air on the screen is hidden by the guys head but his hair can do the job

    Cors"Hair"

  • Did he asks the question about the sub twice?

  • What is this, the Shopping Channel?

  • Sorry Linus :fdwn: . The AMD video was good however this is too much. I understand this may have not been entirely in your hands but I strongly disagree with the direction that has been taken here. Personally, I am not all that interested in watching commercials.

  • repair my RAM :@
