you should read paper towns by john green!! its amazing!! its also kind of follows a boy but mainly about a girl hes inlove with!! SO i think you would love it!! and i absolutly love this series!! <33

Since u like depressing/mystery books, then "The lovely bones" By Alice Sebold wud be perfect for you. i thought it was a bit depressing for me though :P

in the first chapter u find out that there is a girl named Susie Salmon, who was raped and then murdered (i think she was 14 :P) and the whole book is told from her prespective in heaven and she is watching over her parents and her killer. Its a great story but i cried in many of the parts :P

I recommend a book called Damaged by Cathy Glass....this book can be a bit disturbing at times but its really good...it's a deeply moving story of how one foster carer's profound patience and love unlocked a little girl's darkest, most painful stress!

you should read The Life of Pi...it's not a girly book or anything, but it makes you think about how people take life for granted. It's about a boy who gets trapped on a lifeboat with a tiger.

One of my favorites is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, it's kind of hard to read at times but it's really rewarding.

I also just started Listen by Rene Gutteridge, and it's good so far.

I went to the library and picked up Life Without Summer, so I can't wait to read that. Thanks for the recommendations!

i know this sounfs really wierd but i think that if tou want a really good book series you should read the twilight saga i pulls you in and you dont want to stop reading

twilight is slow in the beginning but i promise it gets better!

You should definitely read stuff by Kazuo Ishiguro if you haven't already because he's such an amazing author. I would also highly highly recommend Raymond Carver. And the Portrait Of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde is really good too :)
