@stingoffate The Castmemeber Manager told me that they hold meetings up their occasionally while we we up there.

Oh, I miss it up there.. I worked at this ride for a time and got to go up there freely during training. It was both beautiful and terribly depressing.. I remember playing up there as a little girl, when I first visited Disney World. I walked through the tunnel, remembering how it would light up with different colors.. but the colors never came. It was just a dark tunnel, a shadow of what it was, just like me..

@saverio1e I told the 2 female castmembers that were guarding the stairs that I was a castmember (which was true at the time) but since I worked at Downtown Disney I clearly had no reason to be allowed up there.They told me I would have to ask the manager on duty, so I did...I told him I was a castmember and he told me he'd give us a quick tour, he also told me to not film but as you can see I just couldn't help myself.

@WDI2008 As far as I could tell everything still worked, there were some people that werent dressed like castmembers working on just about everything :)

@WDI2008 I dont know to be honest, the manager that took us up there wouldnt really give me a straight answer to any questions I asked about it reopening

@sentrakidsr20 Actually to sentrakidsr20... I wouldn't count on the upstairs reopening. A lot of the imaginations works was moived down to the main level. When they shortened the ride they filled up the empty space with stuff from the imaginationworks. But it's not the same.

From what I understand, almost everything from the original imageworks is still there

there may still be hope for a future return of this far better incarnation

@clj29360 They were just that...upside down umbrellas that seemed to be from some type of table or something, like they used them to seat people at one point but were taking them apart when i shot this video

Haven't had my hands on (well under) those tables since the late '80s. Maybe they'll open it up in '12/'13 for the 30th anniversary of Epcot...

@DisneyfanBeckers ...the manager that took me up there said they use it for meetings sometimes but the whole time i was up there they're were people fixing and working on all the old stuff that was remaining up there

@funspot202cartoonsTV ...yeah i told the on duty manager that was nice enough to let me up there that i wouldnt but it was just to amazing and i couldnt help my self, it was awesome everything was still up there and there were people in non disney uniforms fixing random stuff while i was up there...they seemed surprised to see us
