Now if you are not a real water drinker you can do this with a pop cap too, but it will fly farther and do a tad bit more damage. Step1. Get your cap. Step2. place cap with the end with the grooves facing away from you between middle and pointer finger. Step3. Push down hard with pointer finger, this will cause the cap to build up force and eventually shoot out of your hand. It generally flies 5-25 feet depending on circumstances. Way better than flicking lol.

That is the new way. In the old way you used a metal bottle cap. With your third finger and inside of your thumb, make a snaping sound. Got that?

You set the sealing side of the bottle cap on your thumb, and your 3rd finger near the closest edge to you on the rim of the metal cap. Now snap the fingers and it will go flying.

You find that for speed. Bend your elbow so the cap is 6" from your cheek bone, and rotate the wrist counter-clock wise. This is the proper height to send it sailing,

actually, its better to fill the bottle with a little bit of water, twist the bottle (while the cap is still on), and then carefully with your thumb twist off the cap (while the bottle is still twisted), and it will shoot off the bottle. If you have twisted the bottle enough and added the right amount of water, it will start smoking like you shot a gun :).
