Ok, three things- first, nice buck. Two- I have shot deer at 350+ yards, you here the shot then see them fall, yours you see the deer fall as you here the shot, bubba it don't work that way. Been there, done that. Three- the deers head is to the right when you shoot, later you show the stand and his head is down to the left, hmmmm nice deer, phony shot. Take up fishing if your gonna tell those lies
@charlesdbritt First of all Chuck, it's a real bad idea to call me a liar!!!! Two - I have forgotten more about ballistics than you could ever hope to know. On that paticular day I was using a basic hunting rifle. Browning 270 wsm, Nikon 3x9x40 shooting a 130gr Winchester ballistic silvertip. Muzzle velocity - 3275 fps, velocity at target - 2355 fps. Time of flight - .46 seconds.
@charlesdbritt Cont....Three - as far as the deers head being the other direction? The deer was in a slight depression on on the hill. It did not die instantly. Four - accusing me that it's a phony. You don't know me but trust me, I have nothing to prove!!!! I've "been there, done that" in some very bad places.
That was an awesome shot under any conditions....Hope everyone had a successful hunting season .... I sell bow n rifle hunts in the Delta for deer and turkey... We left a lot of good young bucks that will be some hosses next year... Hollywood Hunting Club
Beautiful buck. Would love to try some hunting in Miss. We hunt out of NY State in the Adirondack Mountain range. Just got a nice 10 point buck this week. I added a video of it on my page.
HOw could anyone kill such beaUtiful animals. They are like pets if you ever get close to one in RL. They are so smart and affectionate. To kill them is beond me
Nice shot man. I shot a doe at 420 yds, with 30.06, Hornady 150 gr, SST. That was before I started filming my own hunts. Check out some of my bow and muzzleloader hunts. Good luck.

I will say that it is a nice deer. But at over 400 yards is not hunting, its target practice. I am a avid bowhunter and have killed many deer with my bow over the years. Bow hunting is real hunting.
what kind of rifle are you using, that was a long shot. I have a Browning A-bolt 7mm Mag, I have never killed one more than 120 yards. I would like to see what I could do at that range. I think the bullet would drop around 4-5 inches at that distance though.
your 7 mag will reach a LOT longer than 120 yds if you were wonderin'....but from this video i question 423 yards.(but not impossible) but a 7Mag will kill at 1000+ yards with correct MOA and ammo. longest shot ive taken was a doe at 250 yds with .270 boattail 150 grain...however that caliber and ammo is good to 700 yards with correct MOA and sight adj. army snipers cap at over 1000 yds with rem .308 so your 7mag is well suited for long range like this video if you were wonderin
Very nice buck, I didn't see the rack that well, but looks like 7 or 8 point? It had some really long tines and big spread. I killed a 7 point 2 weeks ago in Colbert County, Alabama but the rack wasn't that much to brag about.
Bullshit! 423 yards my butt, watch his head snap up when he flips his safety. It is almost instaantly the same time. It would take that sound much longer to be heard that far away, if at all....
Except that he did hear you flip your safety. watch again. Not only that the deer is facing a different way when you are approaching it and stop to pan to the "stand" and back versus what directions it was facing when you were in the stand. I guess it could have heard you coming and jumped up and turned around.....Ha
great shot i love it..............
