Another way to check if there fake is open them up (don't worry they are open-able) and check the large circular black solder, if its not circular its fake!

Don't quote me or anything, but I think there is a relation between the DSTT and bricked NDSs, but again I'm not completely sure. I recommend you buy something like an Acecard, R4DS, CycloDS, EZ Flash, etc. All the ones I just mentioned are pretty trusted.

that whole "it will brick your DS" was all a rumour flash cards cannot brick your DS the worst thing thats ever happened with a flash card is the N5DS which blows a fuse in the DS. Fake R4s are safe and can usually use way over 2GB as opposed to the offical R4 only using 2GB.
I don't get this video. I had my DSTT/TTDS for about 7 months now. How can I know if mine is fake? Mine seems to be fine, but it's been a long time since I installed a new kernel. Should I avoid doing that...?
