At the time of this recording the bass was played by Michael Deryckx playing a Fender precision bass (which he found in a trash can) with added Gibson pickup, stereo wired. No one missing. I played my '54 Gretsch Country Club with added Bigsby tailpiece also stereo wired. Overdubbed rhythm guitar with my stereo wired 450 Rickenbacker 12-string. My amps were a '65 Twin Reverb with JBL D120F speakers (purchased from Jerry Garcia in 1966) and a Kustom head driving a 2x15 JBL D130 Fender cab.
Kenny Streight, Mike Whilhem and Raul Jano, what a find. Someone's missing though.. maybe James Farrell? - see Flaming Groovies?? Btw, Kenny played a left handed Hofner bass and was a member of the Pied Pipers, in the sixties. If anyone has a related video, please respond, ' specially Kenny or Michael S.
