A few Kashmiris are trying to ignite the sentiments of locals by brain washing them.

Look at the quality of life in pakistan. Common pkistanis are killed by these terrorists in pak. They r just using pakis and Kashmiris for their own goals. Those radicals are not humans and no brothers of yours.

India is a country of ethics, freedom and peace. India is giving you free and fair democratic elections but some people are opposing it. Even locals say they want peace and development and not aazaadi.

why u feel fear to do things according to the united nation resolution, we are ready to resolve this matter by any mean and by any accord, but the thing is that india is not serious at all. paksiani administerd kashmir is a peaceful place, there is no killing on the street by police in here. in my mind the only way to peace in south asia and prosperity is the resolution of kashmir issue. please try to understand time is very precious.

Ask yourself sir, who is responsible for all this ? pre 1988 no such violence was there. If any part of any country wants separate state, the state is bound to respond in opposition, does that not happen pakistan (eg., Sindh). Why do kashmiri muslims want a separate state ? Do you know subsidization is done for kashmir by the Indian tax payer ? Educated kashmiri muslims do not want a separate state it is the undeucated class which wants it.

yahh may be ur right about the voilance but u have to see the history as well, kashmiri started their struggle from 1928 and every goverment took advantage of their peacefull protest. i think india paksitan spend more money of weopens then on the education of kashmiris. am i right?? and some one else is taking advantaqe of this dispute and time is passing very quickly and we are being left behind in the world if u care. we already lost precious 62 years do u want to lost another??

Religions are fake and all divisions based on religions are fake. There is no difference between Indians and Pakistanis, let alone Kashmiri muslims and Indians. Lets not keep dividing ourself, it will only make the subcontinent weaker for others to exploit. Progress of Kashmir, India and Pakistan can be taken forward with the current boundaries. There is no pressing need for division, if one is expansive enough to get beyond stupid things like religion.

India has fought 2 wars with Pakistan for Kashmir. India spend billions of Rupees in protecting you and your land. First, British did not level Indian and Pakistanis as terrorist because they wanted to separate but because they wanted freedom. Even this leveling was hypocritical of them, as no Indian killed innocent British civilian.

But, killing 10,000 innocent Kashmiri Pandits was definitely an act of terrorism. And that had to be curbed.

Strange a Pakistani giving lecture on Human Right violation. If you are talking about numbers then how about 3 million. That's the number of Bangladeshis slaughtered by Pakistanis. And further thousands Kashmiris were killed during the 1947 Pakistan incursion

Most of those died in Kashmir, are rebels and the graves, as explained by Indian army are of those who did not have any claimant.

And YES, there are civilian casualty in Kashmir, but they are collateral damage.

Do not confuse the dates here. India did not give the 1500 figure on 1996, it was in 2006. And where in the heaven did you find those numbers; millions!!! The graves never contained women and children. Here is the report by Amnesty International

This is definitely not something we Indians are proud of, but the numbers are much better than that of Pakistan's.

And it's just double standards of Pakistan to point to the UN resolution. Pakistan never accepted the UN's resolution of formation of the state Israel. It's only when the issue of Kashmir pops up then u start talking about UN.

In any case, what does the UN say about Kashmir, that first both Pakistan and India leave Kashmir, then let the people of Kashmir decide where they want to go. To even this, Pakistan said NO.

Anyway, it was not Mr. Gandhi who promised (He was not the nation-head, so he could not), it was Mr Nehru. Again he did not promise it "infront" of UN, but declared in All India Radio.

Well, Kashmir will stay with India, period.
