This is one thing that attracted me to living in Panama (I lived there for a year already), in that it's known to be free of earthquakes, and no hurrican activity. As more petroleum is extracted and mineral ores from under earth, and more glacier metts increase WATER weight redistribution to pressure tectonic plate movements, and far more earthquake activiity, volcanoes, and aftershocks, subsequent tsunamis, etc. Massive changes in a time where petroleum is alleged to be diminishing to nothing.

Because when you do it just once, who knows what that could have affected. If one can judge wether a faultline has accumulated energy and is ripe for an earthquake within the next 100 years, then one can trigger the faultline by an induced tremor via ultalow frequencies, of the proper magnitude ofcourse.
