Wasn't reincarnation written out of the Bible and Christianity in the 14th or 15th centuries? Maybe in the 1600s?
Also, there is Paul's famous line: "It is appointed unto men once to die and then the Judgment." However, Paul was an emissary of Rome, so actually, the early Roman Catholic church started with that verse to stamp out reincarnation.
reincarnation is the only logical answer for what happens to someone's consciousness when their physical bodies die. you can't really die because you cannot be aware of being dead. we see that everything in nature is cyclical, and we are of nature. it doesnt matter how you look at it, this is the only real truth. those that do not accept it are either scared or mislead by a corrupted belief system
when a human dies its soul is released and taken by Yamraj ruler of the infernal realm where it is judged if there is excessive good karma then the soul is sent to heaven and else to hell. there are 28 hells each for a seperate category of sinners and a heaven and multiple realms of gods, a soul can also go to the realm of the god it worshiped rather than the heaven or hells. it will stay there as long as it has karma in balance and the is released for a new life according to thetype karma.
One night I put a cross around my neck for the first time and lied down in my bed to rest. Instantly my body from my head to my toes became paralyzed and quickly engulfed in this warm, all-consuming tingling sensation. It was 15-20 seconds of the most peaceful, comforting feeling I had known up to that point.
God is not a judgmental man on a throne, but rather the purst form of unconditional love and acceptance for everyone and everything. We are all the same and all go back to the same home.
@Frogstomp121 Believing in a higher being is the belief in seperation from all that exists. Hierarchies are based on seperation. The beings that created these hierarchies are the same ones that control this world today.
if reincarnation is true, i am sure almost everyone will agree that the world is sinning, then why is the population not gowing down, why is the population increasing? Sorry mate reincarnation distroyed!
well, it would logical if you consider the number of souls to be finite. But as we do not know the number of souls due to reincarnate, nor the length of time between incarnations, it is very possible that reincarnation exists, that we are not sinning more and more, and yet that the global incarnated population at any one time on Earth is increasing.
@Virgile71 I invite you to come and have a look at DesteniProductions. I think you will find the information quite fascinating. Among other vids posted on my channel.
the matter of souls reincarnated is not only an earthly issue, humans are just one form of life. There are millions of other forms of life in the universe.
Mainstream Christianity is rubbish! It's the religion of the Roman Emperors, Popes, Randy Kings of England and money grabbing Bible bashing preachers. Politicians have distorted the original truths behind religion in general, Jesus' teaching and the beliefs of the some of the Church Fathers. There has been considerable selective editing during the compiliation the Bible. It should NOT be read uncritically without reference to history, archeology & science. You can't believe everything you read.
Hello iawabraxas. Re:-mainstream christianity. Very well said, these church people, politcians and such like, now believe in their own lies, keep telling it as it really is.
You bash reincarnation but support a book with so many holes, that has been re modified and edited so many times the original meaning has been lost because of the Church? Good job.
Reincarnation makes perfect sense, from a scientific and spiritual standpoint.
Actually Hebrews was written by Paul (as was most of the NT) who was already influenced by Greco-Roman thought. Either way reincarnating to make good for previous bad karma makes a lot more sense than souls sleeping in the ground after death and corpses crawling out on a "special day of judgement", Day of the Dead style. Look into Zoroastrianism to see where Christianity got a lot of its ideas about the afterlife.
Haaaa! Someone's scared of reincarnation! Hey.. At least there's Bardo, the in between period. Or maybe thats in the womb.... How pointless life seems. At least theres sleep, sex, and food!
The Theory of Reincarnation says that if the person is evil he will born in lower caste and even animals and insects. If it is true then the world population should decrease as the crime rate increases. Statistics show that world population is increasing dramatically, does it mean that crime rate is decreasing so every person is re-incarnated in human form?
A while ago a thought came to me and I'll share it with you because it pertains to your question. We should remember that animal species etc. are dying out, frogs, monkies, mamals, fish and on and on. This is what is allowing the human population to grow out of balance with the natural world. A direct answer to your quesion isn't easy. What is truth and what is made up by man? Karma plays a role. Who knows about lower or higher casts. Perhaps human souls stay as human souls.
Well. Thanks for reply. As far as I know, the life on earth is multiplying. Only a few species are getting extinct. Life is so robust that even in the dark depths of oceans and miles deep inside earth's crust the creatures are flourishing. These are evidences that life is robust. By casts I mean mammels, otherwise all humans are equal. If human soul stays the same, then each year, the more babies are born than the people die. Each 80 years, Earth's population doubles. Comments.
yes.. I personally believe that human souls are not the same as animal souls. we are much higher than them, and we have abilities that they dont. i think it has to do with our souls being on a whole different scale than animals. so it doesnt make sense that we would be reincarnated in animal form. but then i think we might, but it could be just coincidence, our soul could just go wherever after death..
Asserting a controversial concept is not the same as providing evidence of metempsychosis (reincarnation). Is he suggesting that since early Christians believed in reincarnation we should therefore be convinced, as they were, that we reincarnate? Underlying his belief in reincarnation is the assumption that the ancients, whether Indian, Muslim, Christian or otherwise, were correct. An existence in a long lost age does not preclude the possibility of the credulousness of those people.
I'm glad to read other comments, too. Do you know The Institute for Research in Human Happiness(the organization based on Buddhism)? I recommend Ryuho Okawa(who heads the organization)'s books which explains about more details of the eternal life and the spirit world, our souls, etc. Please look up the website about our organization, too! And we acknowledge that there are also other good groups, organizations which works to spread the truth or to improve the society.
Yes... now Google "Ian Stevenson" and learn about this scholarly man who spent 40 years studying, documenting and validating thousands of cases of children who remembered past lives (remove spaces):

Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm a Gnostic universalist who's currently working full time in a church, so I'm sort of a Christian for hire. Cheers :)

Idea of reincarnation maybe is delusional belief.
IMHO
Dosen't make any difference at all if you can't remember anything from another life.

Heb 9:27 "it is appointed to men to die once, and after that comes judgement,"
There is no reincarnation. The Church Fathers accepted this text from Hebrews. They did not believe in reincarnation!
This video is rubbish.
