That said, a lot of finishing maneuvres don't hurt the wrestler they are supposed to. I could take ten Swanton Bombs from someone Jeff Hardy's size and kick out. Same with RVD and the frog splash, J-Gabriel or Amazing Red and the 450, etc.

It's the same way HBK's superkick doesn't actually knock people out. How punches don't actually knock teeth out. It's not an actual 'fight', but its still painful
