  • it's like someone travelled through time and recorded on camera a father and daughter playing the piano, somewhere in the late 19th century. It's just amazing.

  • This is a great waltz and a great performance. I wish there more videos of the Teltschiks.

  • Одно из самых очаровательных и изящных произведений для фортепиано! Настоящая жемчужинка! Гимн 19-му веку.... Браво Аренский, браво исполнителям!

One of the most charming and elegant pieces ever written for piano! A real pearl! A gymn to the whole 19-th century... Bravo Arensky, bravo Alfred and Teresa Teltschik!

  • @MarianneAlkonost

Yes, this is absolutely an execellent performance.

  • Mr. Teltschik was my piano teacher from when I was 8-12 years old. We moved away back in 2003, and I haven't seen him since. He would always teach Chopin waltzes to all of his students. I still have that book of Chopin waltzes with his handwriting it! I still find myself getting it out on a rainy day. -Kelly Findley

  • Mr. Teltschik was my piano teacher when I was a kid and he played at my wedding. I just found out that he passed away last year and am so sad. These videos bring back such great memories. He was an amazing man and an amazing teacher. Juli and Tere - hope you guys are doing well. I remember you all fondly. Your dad held a special place in my heart.

  • Lovely -- this is the waltz used in the 1956 20th Century Fox film, Anastasia, starring Ingrid Bergman. Today's is the Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov's 108th birthday.

  • German: GUAF GUF GRR GAH! GHUAF! GHA! GHE!

    HHAHAHA LOL

    nice tho...

  • danke....sehr schön..

  • Beautiful waltz from a beautiful suite. Doesn't it take you back to the beauty of old Russia! If only we could go back.

  • I first heard this valse about 10 years ago on the radio. I'm so glad to hear this lovely piece again and see it being played. Cheers.

  • Epitome of late remantic music.

  • В этом произведении так сильно прослеживаются русские напевы. Плюс - оригинальность и картинность.
