@nintendolad I don't think it's considered an official reign, as I recall what happened was Owen won the match and the title, but the ref reversed the decision because of interference and said the match had to continue, then Bret went on to win.

It brings back the memories when I was a10 year old girl. I loved watching WWF with my uncles and dad. I remember clearly that night. Bret was my favourite and will always be because of my childhood memories. Owen did not deserve this. His poor family.

He had been on steroids which had an effect he never saw coming... or thought would have come. He wasn't himself when he killed his wife, son, and then himself.

Owen died of a severed aorta heart valve caused by blunt forced trauma, the safety clip only require around 6lbs of pressure to release (about the same amount used to spray an aerosol can) he adjusted his cape and he stepped off and hit the top turnbuckle. He was petrified of doing it but felt he had to as he refused to do an angle involving him having an affair, due to his strong devotion to his kids. Vince Russo made him do this stunt, it was a piss poor storyline to have one of the most tale

@KingHotdog Yeah it's getting a little ridiculous. True, I have no idea what her reasoning is, but at the same time she's even sued her own family over using Owen's name. It's the damn world we live in, where we have to sue the hell out of everyone, just to make extra money. No one can prove a point by talking anymore.
While she might be doing this for all her kids, Owen wrestled for a long time. In a way, I feel she is shutting out all the stuff he did, for the 15 or so years of his career.

@smoof24 when owen fell that part was not scripted that really happen ...owen was to release him self when he was about ring level but when he was coming down on the harness something went wrong and something triggered an early release on his harness and he fell 78 feet to the ring landed on the top rope it shot him back to the middle of the ring about 6 minutes after his fall owen died of internal bleeding from blunt chest trauma ..so owen harts fall was not scripted it was not to happen .
