i can't control and keep the skies parallel because of the upper hill ski when turning! mostly when turning left... what should i do ?

he just says it wrong, the ski closest to the hill shouldn't have any "weight" on it..

tho, your ski that goes down the hill should have all the weight..

Lol, I not even that good at skiing and I can name a bunch of things with ur technique. #1 u dont drop ur inside ski? ur suppose to turn it at the same time as u turn ur outside one. and #2 keep ur skis shoudler width is bad for parallels? ur suppose to keep them a bit more closer (about 15 to 20 cm apart depending on u)

please don't teach anymore or do any demos until you learn how to ski. Some simple faults with your demo include.

1- initiating the turn with your upper body.

2- Lifting the inside ski to bring it parallel.

You obviously haven't learnt to use your inside leg properly. It should be rotated until parallel with your outside ski, not lifted into alignment.

There's much more wrong with with this, but I hope you get the picture.

This is exactly the stage I'm at. I'm actually a bit closer to full parallel turns. The only time I do the stem christi turns now is when I'm approaching a steep section where I need to control my speed.
