Michel Hazanavicius for The Artist or Woody Allen for Midnight in Paris and Steven Spielberg for WarHorse. Tough... only five nominations for so many great films.... we will see.
@wowplayerandmore yeah. he directed one of the most critically acclaimed movies of 2011. What, a fantasy movie director shouldn't get a nomination? well that's bullshit! Just look at Peter Jackson for The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
@wowplayerandmore you cant compare them, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter just share one thing in common, they are both great fantasies. The books and the movies too.
Hugo Cabaret is now Hugo, and we found out that it's a magical family adventure movie so no. No one knows the movie John Madden is directing and it's too bad that Terrence Malick might not get one but I think he deserves it The Tree of Life is the greatest

What the hell is David Fincher doing here all he did was remaking the original, which was far better by the way.
You shouldn't get points for just being a copycat
And Where's Nicolas Winding Refn, Drive was one of the best films from that year
