  • Back when I was a kid getting off the school bus the stooges were waiting. What do kids now have when they get off the bus? TALK SHOWS! Nothing now but "who's the daddy" crap!

  • JUST SAY MOE!

  • This just made my day! Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk!

  • what year is this from?

  • This is a great upload!

  • the best

  • what´s year is this?

  • Awesomeness is that there is a Stooges film coming out in April of 2012.

The sadness is that the Jersey Whores cast makes cameos.

Can't well tell someone that the Farrelly Brothers drew Mohammed?

  • That is killer. Moe Howard was awesome! It would be legendary to get a pie in my face from Moe...LOL. Come get some Catspit~! ☠

  • Thank you sir for this awesome upload >)

  • @MREVIL1127 thanks for watching

  • @MREVIL1127 thanks for watching

  • Yeah but then I remember seeing the 3 Stooges in concert twice in Canada in the mid sixties in which Moe told kids not to poke each other in the eyes like they saw in their movies as it had caused some kids to go blind as their friends poked them in the eyes way too hard. Also assumeing that kids hitting other kids over the head with chairs, boards and so on must have hurt some kids down the road. I don't know when this piece was filmed but I know what I heard

  • I wanna travel back in time to meet the stooges.

  • @TheSonicfan180 You don't have to. The 3 Stooges time traveled from the 1930s to here in 2012

  • honestly, who would dislike this video!? lemme guess, those ignorant saps who insist these guys are "violent"?

  • (; what year is this......

  • I am old enough to remember the huge Anti-Three Stooges ground swell that happened in the 60s. Some prissy (womens group?) group tried to get them taken off TV saying they were too violent......what a laugh. Today 8 year old bring guns to school and sell drugs

  • It's great to see the other side of the story 4o years later. I'd like to know when this was broadcast.

  • @Moonfish2011 The broadcast is from 1973, it was among the last show interviews Moe did as he was later filmed from home as he got older and a bit slower in things, he and his wife both passed in 1975. Curly Joe was the last survivor.

  • there will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever ever, ever, be another, moe howard, or another michael jackson, i llok up to those 2, i have some more idols, moe howard, michael jackson, the temptations(: the miracles(: diana ross, (:the 3 stooges shows(:

  • hey, my granmother met moe howard(: when she told me that, i could not belive it(: she was in an orphainage, and she was 12 years old when she met him(; she told me, that he came, to the place, and showed the kids, vidoe clips, and explained to them, not to do the poking in the eyes, that is really dangerous,): but, when i act like moe, i don't do it, well, i do it to my huge, hige, teddy bears thats' alot safer(:

  • what year was this?

  • Amazing, what a trooper , man doing acts and comedy at that age. RIP, moe

  • why is his face blackish?

  • Thanks! Great video!

  • His wife is refreshingly age-appropriate.

  • I love it - at 6:21 you can see Moe mouthing "son of a bitch"...

  • man, moe, looks real cuter, in his 70s on the mike douglas show, then he did back in his 50, in the 3 stooges years(: i know why he looks grater, he has some face lifts(: we love you moe, i wish i could have met you, before you passed): but i was not even born till 1992, but, i loved you since i was 1 years old(:

  • I wish us fans could experience the Stooges in person when they performed live. It's a shame to lose such great talents and may we forever remember them as the Greats of Comedy history.

  • Roger Miller...what a twit.

  • Why is his face so dirty? is he still homeless?

  • Oh whoa is Moe!

  • Greatness! I remember when Moe was interviewed on KBSC channel 52 in LA about 1975. He was a wonderful guest and he told the most amazing tales of the early days of the act. I had an audio copy but I lost it long ago.

I had no idea he was on Mike Douglas and this was like finding a long, lost treasure. Many thx for loading this!

  • @jahbad01 OMG! Channel 52 was GREAT!!! Stooges, Little Rascals, Kimba the White Lion. Oh, man. What memories.

  • @japhyryder66 That was the best channel ever. Do you agree that The Lion King is a rip off of Kimba?

  • @japhyryder66 speed racer too!

  • I actually remember watching this episode when I was about 8 years old. The saddest thing is watching awesome people grow old.

  • he flew to this gig, his airplane goggles left the white mark

  • I would consider it a badge of honor to be "Pied" by Moe Howard !!!!!

  • lmao 1:04 What did i drop? Money?

  • hey, moe had his hair come back in one of the 3 stooges episodes, where, curly, and shemp, was already gone(; i loved, the eb,eb,eb,eb,eb,eb sound that shemp usedto make he looks like moe's twin(:

  • i love moe howard(: he's been my moest favorite stooge since i was 1 years old(: my dad, and i would watch them all the time(: me and my daddy, loved moe, he's was our favorite(: my granma even meet moe, when you was a little girl, when she told me that, i was like omg(: you did, i love to act him out but i don't do the eye poking i'll have to take his advice(: i lvoe you moe(: rest in peace(:

  • My grandfather who grew up in the 30's-50's use to always carry a comb JUST like that in his front pocket. he is still alive too in his late 80's and still has a full head of hair, and still has that comb. man i love the three stooges, honestly class acts... and talent.

  • Moe looks weird in color. Why was his face looking dirty?

  • Apparently Moe started working in movie studios and bit parts since before 1910!

  • I would have loved to have met the Stooges

  • Thanks Jimymac1...this was priceless!!

  • @Dhfalcon62 your welcome

  • Moe wore that Bowl cut so professionally.

    lol

  • Roger Miller comes off as a jackass in this clip; trying to upstage the great Moe Howard. I, too, love the fact that Moe completely blows him off. I'm surprised by how scantily clad the assistant is in the pie throwing skit! No doubt Mike liked having her on the set!

  • True comedy Genieses..

Its a shame that in todays society, people could in no way have acts like that without having the pants sued off of them

  • lol. besides the colour, he still has the same hair

  • the man himself

  • True pros!!

  • What a gent he is and so funny! The Stooges rock but i do prefer Laurel and Hardy, but there both great and we really shouldnt compare them.

  • moe has that same haircut. fantastic !

  • they were best

  • they were best

  • Moe had a great head of hair for an old guy

  • Remember well watching this went it was first aired. Moe Howard was the guest co-host for a week.

  • I'm a woman and it would be an honor for Mr. Moe Howard to hit me in the face w/ a pie. No angry letters necessary. rip, sir

  • @WarRogers can i hit you in the face with a pie?

  • I wish i has been around during the time they were making their episodes. The other day I read up on some local history and found out the Moe, Larry, and Shemp had come to the relatively small town of Gadsden and had performed at one point.

  • @batipps4ever No it's not. The original Moe Howard was black and white.

  • This Moe Howard guy could have been one of the three stooges. Too bad that was before his time.

  • @fjccommish He was one of the three stooges.

  • @ObiBen11 Not possible. He's in color.

  • awesome footage... thx 4 sharing

  • nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk

  • Anybody knows the date?

  • I like how Moe Howard completely IGNOREDRoger Miller after Roger mentioned he and his wife teach his son not to poke people in the eyes like the Three Stooges did. LOL

  • @hayesman76 Yea I picked up on that too!

  • @hayesman76 Pay attention, he didn't ignore him at all. He reinforced that kids should not emulate such stunts.

  • oh wow when moe combed his hair he did not look like moe howard any more he changed into another man we love you moe please rest in peace,june 19th,1897-may 4th 1975)))))));

  • aww i love the part where moe takes out his comb and changes into another man, my granma met moe howard when she was little lucky i loved moe since i was a baby and i love the part where moe goes to his wife and tryes to kiss her then she pied him then at the end she gets up and they kiss awww(: rest in peace moe, and helen

  • Why does Moe have five o'clock in this interview?

  • lol...I thought the woman in the Bikini was his wife! lol

  • I was 16 when this show aired and I remember seeing it. I'm 52 now.

  • Who's the guy sitting there with the afro? He seems as thou he wishes he was somewhere else.

  • wow just lost it LMAO

  • this video keeps telling me that embedding is disabled and to watch it on youtube however I AM indeed attempting to watch it on youtube...

  • Amazing. The stooges were the all time best. Moe was the last one standing.

    Immortal.

  • @devilred1971 What languge on YouTube but I do agree with you . How would anyone dislike classic comedy.

  • how old is he in this video???

  • Moe & Stooges rule!

  • Moe channeling Andy Warhol...Then he combs his hair and transforms into Jack Woltz from "The Godfather"

  • Moe channeling Andy Warhol

  • I'll bet he and his wife had a terrific marriage. so cute!

  • The Three Stooges first short was in 1934 and they became the most loved of all time. Hell it's almost 77 years later and their are still loved and popular as ever. I do not believe there will ever be an act that will even come close to this. What a tribute to their genius and talent. I do not count the two "Joes" in this because they sucked, only Moe, Curly, Shemp, and Larry were the Three Stooges to me. Emil Sitka would have been a better stooge than either Joe was, he was funny!

  • @Hutzjohn I completely agree.

  • @Hutzjohn how do you know they became the most loved of all time?

  • thats charles fleischer sitting next to roger miller. do you have the whole episode?

  • @illuminatiish sorry no, just the moe segments

  • Moe has a 5:00pm shaddow

  • That's Roger Miller to Moe's left, isn't it? Wonderful!!

  • The stooges are timeless , every generation enjoys them , they have never been duplicated and they are in a class by themselves and totally original. So much better than the crap they are putting on television today.

  • I wish I could've met these guys.

The Stooges will live forever. There's a stooge in every one of us.

These guys are still the funniest comedians I've ever seen. I love Moe, he was always my favorite

  • No offense but does Moe really have that bad of 5 o clock shadow or is he wearing Hobo makeup?

  • @socialcrimeradio good question I was thinking the same thing :) the stooges rock!

  • What year was this because he died in 1975.

  • very funny

  • moe didnt die , he will live forever in the smile of every one of us

  • @carajoyo I agree! :)

  • @carajoyo Awesome statement there.

  • @carajoyo i will rember him

  • @carajoyo best comment ever!

  • @carajoyo And every person whose eye we poke.

  • @carajoyo Good words!

  • I love he kept the hair cut !

  • moe howard=andy warhol

  • @illuminatioracle Pete Rose

  • love the 3 stooges miss them very much thanks for posting, i don't remember this clip. thanks again

  • What a charming and hilarious man. I love those guys. Wish they had lived forever.

  • LOLOL! He was hilarious all the way to the end.

  • My mom used to watch Mike Douglas in the 1960's. She wasn't a Stooges fan. I was / am.

  • Recently, I noticed how my little nephew was literally laughing his ass off after watching a 3 Stooges short for the very first time.

Then I remember how much I used laugh whenever I came home from school & watched the Stooges/Rascals hour on TV.

And when I recall how my dad absolutely loved watching the Stooges DVD he got one Christmas,

I realize that the slapstick produced by the Howard Fine Howard trio is a form of comedy that practically epitomizes the term "timeless".

  • You can measure a man's brilliance by his sense of humor. Moe was a genius. Thank you, sir.

  • I just dont think people can do that type of comedy anymore....they had impeccable timing and that was the key, I surely miss all of them RIP....and dont call me surely, sorry about that!

  • Please do not attempt this poking in the eye, its extremely dangerous. We are trained professional idiots.

  • amazing people

  • A true legend...and how the legend will never die. not even in our hearts.

  • HAHA HE CALLS MIKE DOUGLAS A BASTARD LOL, he had no idea at the end.

  • LOVE THE THREE STOOGES!!!! Let it always be remembered that the three stooges set the bar for slapstick comedy!

  • I adore the Stooges (and Abbott and Costello) and I'm a girl! I grew up watching the Stooges. The only one I didn't like was Joe DeRita.

  • I adore the Stooges (and Abbott and Costello) and I'm a girl! I grew up watching the Stooges. The only one I didn't like was Joe DeRita.

  • Rest In Peace Stooges!!!

  • What year is this?

  • @waycooltoo It was a year you wasn't born in....lol Seriously, it was 1974 or 1975. He passed away in 1975.

Now, 35 years later, I finally got to see it. I would've considered it an honor to be the recipient of a Moe Howard slap! Thanks for posting this.

Moe: 'shut up numbshull what are you trying to Do? roast me like a lobster?' slap poke boing

  • never seen any of the Stooges in a setting outside of their films. this is television beyond words. the Stooges were classic.

  • Hey Moe , Hey Larry

  • THREE STOOGES, ARGENTINA LOVES YOU!!!

  • GOD BLESS!

  • Thanks for posting!!! This made my day :)

  • @svagrod your welcome

  • My grandfather worked at a diner in New York in the 30s or 40s and these guys use to come in and he would serve them. He said that just to look at them made you laugh, and they didn't have to do a damn thing.

  • What year was this?

  • @nchiley No later than 1975 because that's when he died.

  • I was fortunate enough to grow up on the Three Stooges and watched it with my Dad, who actually has a framed hand written letter from Moe proudly displayed on his wall. They were comic geniuses and their stuff holds up to this day! Moe's autobiography is essential reading, as it is witty and charming and very well written. Thanks for sharing this!

  • Comedy at its best...right now there in heaven making God laugh

  • Cool pie fight

  • Moe looks pretty slick with his hair combed back.

  • What the heck is wrong w/ Mo's face?

  • @pbrick6301 I was about to ask that myself.

  • @pbrick6301 He was wearing makeup

  • Greatest comedy team EVER! The Three Stooges!

  • Hilarious

  • moe was really short xP

  • moe looked like one of them oldschool hobo clowns here

  • awesome

  • R.I.P. Moe Howard.

  • i wish they had lived longer though, they are good comedy people, so were laurel and hardy, if todays generation would appericiate the old comedians than we atleast appericiate many diffrent other types of comedy

  • Wow, if only actors had this much class today.

  • Does Moe say sons of a bitches at 6.23 when his wife hits him with the pie look at his lips lol Moe cussed lol

  • taht was his daughter in the first seat wasnt it ?

  • what a sweet man.

  • Joan Howard Maurer(Moe's Daughter) and her co-authors of "The Three Stooges Scrapbook"(The book not the tv show pilot)The Lenberg Brothers have stated that Mrs.Helen Howard..Moe's wife hit her husband with chunks of a pie in the face. She really hit him with a full pie.

  • Dear 1952 Kid, I ment to say that"The Three Stooges Funhouse!"was on the air on WPIX TV Ch.11 in NYC from 9/8/1959 to 9/7/1961.

  • Dear 1952 Kid, "The Three Stooges Funhouse!"wasn't not on the air on WPIX TV Ch.11 in NYC in the mid to late 1960's.That show was on the air from 9/8/1959 to 9/6/1960.Moe appeared on"The Three Stooges Show"on Ch.11 from 4/1967 to 7/3/1969.
