  • Creepy.

  • That is so freakin' kewl =) The USN's capability to fly through the waters of this earth anywhere, and at anytime...and then surface in a place most have never laid direct Human eye upon. The whole idea within this video of where the sub had traveled from and to where it surfaced and how is just mind blowing....

  • SCIENCE!

  • hey look ma, i found a sub!!!!

  • The left barrack is labelled TAHITI. It this nuclear winter? Did I missed something?

  • Submariners are cool. That sub cost the tax payers over 13 billion dollars. Take good care of it. Keep that guy with the chain saw away from it.

  • @skittletube subs do not cost 13 billion my friend. With 13 billion you can buy 2 Nimitz class carriers. Subs cost around 2 billion a piece.

  • @njdevil281 "With 13 billion you can buy 2 Nimitz class carriers. Subs cost around 2 billion a piece."

Sounds fair. What are delivery options?

  • @krbosak FedEx, UPS the usual.

  • Damnit.....the gps did it again honey.

  • нехуй лезть туда куда ненадо .

  • I think the Virginia has better ice breaching right? Btw to all the morons going on about russian subs being better, Those hunks of shit still use valve power and lack stealth technology. A naval commander said "A typhoon class Russian sub has never left a port without one of ours ghosting it."

  • @1488WaffenSS I would not call Russian subs crap becasue the Akula II class K-157 was considered quieter then any Los Angles class when it was built in the 90's. I always have respect for the Russians there the only country on earth that can duke it out with the US, everyone else is no contest.

  • @Iznanoc what about germany?..;o)..greeds from kiel, no1 in submarine building!

  • @1488WaffenSS no fucking shit.... the russians know how to sail under the ice, so they dont need to breach the freaking ice

  • сразу видно что не в ссср сделано))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • 0:26 scared the crap out of me. xD

  • @captainempathy i had my volume turned up because the plane was so quiet. i regret that decision

  • Love the chain saw sounds. They are sweet.

  • american subs struggle to gut through ice Russian subs cut through ice like butter

  • We all live on a Yellow Submarine

  • "Well this isn't Hawaii!"

  • I wonder if the plane pilot has their pitot heat on and the de-ice systems turned on.

  • World Domination of every part of the world.

  • Who ordered the pepperoni and extra cheese pizza?

  • This is really good, I always thought our subs could just break through. Sail on boys

  • i've been inside the connecticut just last month when they were parked in wa

  • Hmm, looks like soft soggy ice.

This is the North Pole ?

  • Great video!

  • Wow

That is how they can do it

  • The subs outer layer is too weak to just bust through the I've plus there are sencorson the top of the sub

  • @mariokart546 No its not. Only comment when you actually know what your talking about. This isn't the movies. -EN2, USN

  • very awsome

  • i dont get it, JUST FUUCKEN RAM THE ICE WITH THE SUB DAMIT!

  • @brahmasWorld

They are testing the thickness of the ice to see where the best place to break is.

  • You need allot of logged hours and the US Navy puts you through a battery of welding tests. And it's COLD! FUCKING COLD! VERY FUCKING COLD! lol...

That steel LOVES to crack, oh fuck I hate it! You have to preheat for like half an hour, then after you weld you have to post heat. Then you have to wait for an hour until it reaches the outside temperature. Then they ultrasound and Xray it. The 1/8th" electrodes I use have soo much tensile strength that my Dodge 3500 can't break or even stretch it

  • If that were my nuclear sub I'm not sure how keen I'd be to have that guy so close with a chainsaw.

  • @BezManQatar I weld those things for a living..you know how dense that steel is? The Teeth on the chainsaw would be destroyed on that metal.. The Tensile strength is over 110,000 psi

  • @DeltaReconnaissance

Do you have to use special super welders?

  • thats awesome.

  • I went to the NP multiple times on this boat. Warriors of the Double Deuce.

Look up the USS Connecticut polar bear "attack". It was just a curious baby polar bear.

  • awesome...

  • my brothers on this sub :)

  • Makes my day job seem like a hobby...

  • what is the meaning of this strange new artifact? THE FORERUNNERS!

  • I bet there is a thousand feet hole into the thick ice crust and at the end of the tunnel, there is an alien spaceship!!!

  • WTF!!!!

  • WWWAAAOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMPRESIONANTE !

  • great video!

  • Beyond cool. (no pun intended)

  • I heart my hubby!

  • I guess scraping my windows off on my car in the morning isn't so bad.

  • @alaricdogface

    Haha.

  • @alaricdogface Ha HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
