It is one of the best prepaid plans out there. It is actually Verizon but they don't tell you that or else regular Verizon would be losing a lot of customers.
I love Straight Talk it allows me to run my drug and prostitution business hassle free and without being committed to a long term plan in case I need to relocate for 5-10 years.
When my cell contract ended, I was skepticle at first buying a phone from Walmart. But after reassurances from many colleagues at work, i decided to give it a try. Been a ST customer for about 3 months now and so haven't had a single dropped call!
Straight Talk Wireless is THE WORST Customer trained rep on the planet. After 4 months of their service, no one can resolve the problem on my web page log in account and my cell phone device. I am only spending my money because its cheap, therefore, you get cheap crappy service.
I went shopping to walmart and decided to go to the cell phone section because I knew my contract would be over soon. I found interest in straight talk as the service seemed pretty good and the price seemed extreme good to be true. I decided to try it out and I have been convinced for $45 you get unlimited minutes. I am now changing my whole family to straight talk.
Unfortunately with Straight Talk's plans you can't make overseas calls like you can with Net10's plans but then you can't have everything. I get the cheapest call rates in the US for unlimited everything, $45/month and I get to use the best networks ie: Verizon & AT&T. I'm saving $65/month and smiling all the way to the bank.
pre paid rocks! especially the straight talk unlimited deal. $45 a month for unlimited minutes, texts and data. Plus the coverage is really great with AT&T..
@spottydogish I agree...........I was initially worried whether something this cost effective could be worthwhile and was more than pleasantly surprised. I did not realize that ST used Verizon and AT&T towers which is brilliant as they are extremely reliable,
omg i see this company everywhere when i go to walmart. I been contemplating getting it but ahhh im a bit skeptical about the whole nation wide coverage and unlimited minutes and text for just $45/month. But it's cheap, and no contract, so it wouldn't hurt to try it right people?
Pre paid deals must just make life soooo much easier when you have kids. You can teach them to budget because they get a set amount like @30 each month and they know they can't go over that and they 1000 minutes for that...
@tomspeckle Plus you know that you'll get great service in case they are in an emergency, Straight Talk uses the Verizon and ATT towers so you know that you will never get a dropped call no matter where you are. Peace of mind.
Thanks for the idea brinnyavrack now that Christmas time is upon us I'm also going to be sending photo's to my loved ones of my family lying on the stretchers of Miami Beach. Fortunately with Straight Talk's $45 unlimited plan I can send as many photo's as I want, as many texts and e-mails and I can talk as much as I want. and it won't cost me a cent more than $45.
At this time of the year you wouldn't find me camping or at the beach it is too damn cold! But what you will find is me with my straighttalk sitting at the fireside and sending photos of my peacful sleeping dog after a huge xmas meal to all my friends and family wishing them a Merry Christmas
Unlimited everything for $45 really is an unbeatable deal. Straight Talk also have excellent coverage, so you really can expect to get a signal on a camping trip. As the comment below also points out, you can send as many photos as you like.
It is so cool that if you are on a camping trip. or at a beach, with Straight Talk unlimited, you can send as many photos as you like for no extra cost.
In our family we have a straighttalk $30 plan for when we go on vacation to keep in touch with the folks back home. It has also been handy in that I give it to my teenage daughter when she goes out. This is a safety measure and it really makes me feel re-assured and in touch with her. $30 a month is not a lot to pay especially in that she can use it to text all month and 1000minutes - a heck of a lot of texting
The money that I have saved with Straigh Talk has definitely added up. Its a great service at an incredible price. I have no idea why people are still spending a month's worth of groceries on a cell phone.
this is the commercial I saw on tv! I thought there was no way it actually was all the unlimited stuff they claim for only $45. But I've been doing research for hours, and I can't find anything that says otherwise. All I've found so far are tons of happy straight talk users. It seems like a switch will be in order for me in the near future.
@EdwinTheAmazing It has to be one of the Straight Talk phones, but they all are made by Nokia and are pretty good quality. If you like using the mobile web check out the Nokia 6790 which can pretty much do everything an iPhone can do.
Wow, I guess a lot of people are really giving Straight Talk a look. I never really took prepaid plans seriously but it seems that Straight Talk even has smartphones and 45 bucks a month is ridiculous cheap...
Black Friday!!!!! Straighttalk has a special for $45 you get an unlimited 30 day air card worth $45 AND a Samsung T55 for free - this is a really merry xmas deal
Straighttalk is amazing and their recption and coverage are great. My family is a great outdoor family and we do a lot of hiking and camping. I always take my straighttalk with as a safety feature. For $45 I get unlimited talk, text and data which is just so convenient expecially when we are on a family outing and the kids need to text.
@veryterryification I just learned that the reason that the reception is so great is because that Straight Talk actually uses the Verizon network which if you've seen the ads is the largest in the country. Yet another reason to stick to Straight Talk!
That looks like an awesome camping site. I bet Straight Talk phones still get signal out there in the woods too because they are on the Verizon network which is the best network these days. I am thinking about getting a Straight Talk phone for the holidays.
cute video. hahaahhah i don't do camping.. but i live in a pretty rural area. and straight talk has been great for me. I never ever drop calls and for me thats a huge thing. I would constantly be on the phone and I would lose people. So now that problem is fixed, coverage is better, service is clear and oh.. i spend like half the price! 45 dolllars... its really true people. Unfortunetly my mom knows i have unlimited so she does call me everyday. cant blame the dropped calls anymore
The straighttalk $45 unlimited plan has been such a bonus to me. I often travel interstate and now there is no extra charge in keeping up with my family and friends when I am not at home. I can literally speak to them all day if I want to. Contract phones don't give you the same option and my contract cost me way more than $45 a month
I know I am a winner in every sense of the word when using Straight Talks $45 unlimited plan because you can be guaranteed your social life becomes rock solid because you can talk all day and make as many calls as you want to people all over the USA using this plan and you're getting the cheapest calls so you can put money in your rainy day account and you know that ST uses Verizon and AT&T masts which gives one top quality reception.
Straight Talk also offers flexibility where you can change plans according to you usage which you cannot do with contracts unless you want to be penalized. You can also request an automatic top up.
@88tori1 The flexability is awesome. Some months I get the $30 1000 minutes, texts and MBs deal and on busy months I get the $45 unlimited deal. And the coverage is always great
What I've noticed about the Straight Talk unlimited plan is that it offers a lot more than the other unlimited plans out there which is why I bought the $45 plan from them for my kids for Christmas. The ST unlimited plan offers unlimited mobile web & e-mail , no statements, free calls to 411, uses the best networks which are AT&T & Verizon and doesn't charge an activation fee. That is quite a lot of stuff for free and the reception on the right towers is a hugely important factor.
@caribeancoctail Wow Straight Talk uses the Verizon network, I didn't know that. Isn't that the largest network in the country or something? I think it is. If so, the service on that must be pretty great no?
@filmguy786 You are correct! the fact that Straight Talk uses the Verizon network is what sold me. i was always hesitant thinking the service would be bad, but trust me, it's great! Plus, they just got two new smartphones that are definitely worth checking out.
When my family and I changed from contract to Straight Talk we were amazed at the cell phone options available at Walmart. So now we have a really affordable and flexible plan with Straight Talk and high quality phones.
the straight talk coverage is probably the most under-rated part of this deal! It is the best in the country and you won't pay any long distance charges, so its perfect for traveling on business. Sweet deal
@MrPrepaidrules I've got to agree with you! My calls never drop. It's great! With my old cell phone provider i think i had a call drop a day. it was terrible. With Straight talk I never have to worry about that.
I haven't been with Straight Talk for long, but I'm already saving a bundle, since there are no overage fees or roaming charges. The Unlimited plan really lives up to it's name. I can't imagine ever returning to a contract plan.
One of the millions that switch is Me. Straight Talk Unlimited has been waiting for me forever. My old plan with the contract cellphone company was costing me part of the salary. Now extra money to pay, to shop and probably buy another Straight Talk for a gift. For $45 a month you get all you want and Unlimited as well. Go ahead purchase Straight Talk Cell today.
@spottydogish You aren't kidding when it comes to a great deal, but I think this commerical is bit old. I joined up with Straight Talk last year and I was under the impression the company had been around for a while. Either way, new or old, the savings are real and super easy to find at Walmart.
One of the features I really like about using Straight Talk $45 unlimited plan is the really good reception that we get even when we are out in the country. Whether we are walking in the hills, cycling far on dusty side roads or barbecuing under the trees at our campsite we haven't had any broken calls or crackly lines. Of course this goes without saying how super cheap the unlimited calls & texts & mobile web facilities are. There is just no other plan that is on a par with this one.
@mousykins1 I have totally found that as well! Unlimited minutes, texts and data with great reception really is an amazing deal. You can also get some amazing phones for great prices with Straight Talk..
like it. life as a student means life is all about books and all about saving money to be able to buy them.i got my new phone from straight talk together with a prepaid plan for $45 a month which gives me unlimited talk, text and data. no more surprise bills at month end, no overage fees. but i got nationwide cover with good reception thanks to verizon. and if i don't like it any more i pay no cancellation fees, i just stop paying the $45 a month. super
WalMart's finallly got it right with this one. Straight Talk is by far the most affordable phone I have. The reception is always clear and I haven't had a single dropped call and I'm going on my 4th month with ST. My average saving is about $40 a month plus now I have unlimited text, web and minute...truly a hard to beat deal :)
You shouldn't take your phones camping, at least I wouldn't, but it's true that you'd still be able to get service in the woods with Straight Talk. Since Verizon is their provider, you know you've got quality service, all for only 45 bucks a month.
Straight Talk is the way to go. My kids were just cruising through the month, not even giving a second thought to how much they were spending. It's hard to explain to yoru chioldren that money doesn't grow on trees and they really need to cut back on their cell ohone bills. You can say it until you're blue in the face and they still will not understand. Straight Talk solves these problems! $45 a month and you don't even have to think about it again...
I was a little skepticle at first about buying a cel phone from Walmart but after servera recommendations from close friends and family, I decided to give it a try. So glad that I did. I'm saving about $50 a month by switcing to ST and now have unlimited minutes and better coverage ;)
Unlimited everything for 45 bucks really is an unbeatable deal and I also heard that straight talk have amazing coverage... The phone's look really good too- awesome samsung smartphones and a full spectrum for all types of user.
nice ad. saw it in walmart when i went to fetch my new phone. got myself the samsung finesse. love the camera and the mp3 player. but most of all i love the $45 a month plan for unlimited talk, text and web access.no extra fees for long distance calls and no overage fees. unbeatable deal and great savings. thank you walmart and Straigth Talk.
The Unlimited deal is great value for anyone who uses a lot of data, minutes or texts each month. And its $850 a year less than the equivalent on a contract phone, how can anyone justify the extra cost for the same service? I know I can't.
i like the video. i also like Straight Talk. for $45 a month, calling and texting all month , as much as i like. the additional web access does the trick, it is now so much easier to stay in touch with people, no panic at month end about a huge phone bill.
Its great to live in the great outdoors and still to keep in contact with your loved ones on the phone and tell them about the sunset you are watching etc. I love Straight Talk especially the $45 plan for 30 days service because you can talk forever, text all day, or send loads of unlimited photo's on the internet to your loved ones and never worry about looking at the time or worrying about clocking up a huge bill. Its great there's no hidden charges, no contract fee. I'm the mommy in control
Yea you really can't beat that. $850 in savings a year is amazing. I think I am going to get my whole family and all of my friends in on this great deal.
My kids are thrilled with the Straight Talk unlimited call, text and data plan and so am I!! What an easy way to save money and I never have to yell at the kids about getting off the phone ever again!!
I have now found the best bargain with straighttalk unlimited talk nationwide for $45 including 30 days service. Great service and coverage and the cheapest that I know of.
I really like the Straight Talk plans. Of course I like the savings even more but the plans are great value. You don;t get cheaper or better than this! They aren't really exaggerating about that $850 of savings either. I'm saving almost as much...
Never though I would find such a great cell phone deal at Walmart - on food yes, but not on cell phones. Straight Talk is as easy as it gets in terms of finding it and activating a phone - you purchase a phone and you already have a month of service included. You can actually get a really decent texting/SmartPhone for a little more than half the cost of an IPhone.
This $45.00/month prepaid unlimited talk, & text nationwide, unlimited data, unlimited calls to 411 and 30 days service is an unbelievable bargain, specially when you are enjoying your R451C Qwerty keyboard slider phone from Walmart you just want to talk and text all the time out of pure enjoyment. My package is received automatically every month and my debit card gets charged accordingly.
READ THE FINE PRINT AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT REFILL COVERAGE UNTIL YOU HAVE USED YOUR COVERAGE COMPLETELY. THEIR SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO SCREW THEIR CUSTOMERS. WHY ELSE ERASE ANY REMAINING COVERAGE YOU HAVE WHEN YOU ADD A NEW REFILL CARD? THIS IS A SIMPLE QUESTION THAT NO ONE AT STRAIGHT TALKS CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT CAN ANSWER.
@init4kicks2 It's unfortunate that this happened to you. However the last time I added credit before my service ran out, I had no problems and the new card didn't kick in until my service ran out. But you can also enroll in auto refill which will take credit every 30 days so you won't have to worry about this. The only problem I've had is when I got a new credit card to replace the original I had to call customer service to add it to auto-refill.
