I'm finished. 11 Books in 4.5 years. Took me quite a while. But I think the last three were better than all others. For me, Nish was the best character.. better than Llian.

Worlds: Lol, Rulke Geomancer: Irisis is a bitch. Tetrarch: Tiaan gets captured by lyrinx, again... Alchymist (best book IMHO): Nish proves his manliness. Chimaera: Tiann is pathetic, everyone takes advantage. Fallen: Nish is pathetic, everyone takes advantage. Chosen: Maelys can do all the hard work. Dead???

It's really great, but I preferred the book in Well of Echoes more.

Not sure when theyre being released but in the last book of the songs of the tears its explained what happened to them which sets it up for the books hes doing about them

After this I'll have to read the last two of the mirror quartet. Unfortunately, I had to interrupt this series so I could finaly see, what happens with Nish.

one of my favorite series kinda annoying how i stated reading geomancer first though. Cant wait for the next series to be made. i will have to read the tale of the mirror first though.

I've read the "View From the Mirror" and the "Well of Echoes" quartets from the end of year nine to the beginning of year ten. I was so thrilled when the "Song Of Tears" began to be written. I've missed them all so much I've started re-reading "View From the Mirror". It's shocking how much can be forgotten in two years.

Yeah, I've been waiting for a year and a bit for "Destiny of the Dead" too.

yeah, I'm also waiting for one year now. I've read 'the well of echoes' series and those last two books. The last month I couldn't wait any longer for those tellings and bought the four books from 'the view from the mirror' although I've never planned to read them. However, it doesn't even take a whole chapter to totally forget everything else.

Well its not really a spoiler if you had read those books years and years ago. Ian makes it very clear within the first few chapters of the new series that Irisis is dead.

Well considering the scope of possible powers, Resurrection can't be that difficult a concept to fathom. Or animation of the dead... going horribly wrong. Nothing to say what a mentally worn Nish could do and the cost of those actions... I mean how hard could reversing a biological process be, all her required information is in her DNA and her body is well preserved. Brain signals may be a tough one but...
