some stranger came up to my car once whilst i stopped at a redlight and asked for a lift to the closest train station which was only 5 min drive away. i agreed and it was all ok. the man seemed a bit crazy with all his god talk and telling me to visit some church as he got out of the car at the station. Thank god he was a good man and not a psychopath... but stilll i regret doing that, and will never do it again no matter how nice the person seems.
I also wonder why he didn't run his butt over when he saw him walking and if I saw him walking towards my mom's place, I would like to think that I would have grabbed a tire iron and went after him.

Even though this happened in a rural area, there were cases of serial killers that had been documented already. Many serial killers commit their crimes in rural or suburban areas, which means giving a stranger a ride late at night in the middle of nowhere is like playing russian roulette.
Um........did anyone see if Mr. Holden's vehicle registration was missing from the vehicle's glove compartment? Um....the killer could have gotten Mr. Holden's address from that.

Moral of the stoy: Don't pick up strangers AND you may want to keep the registration papers with you, so an intruder can't find your name and address, if they break into your car!

Paying any attention to stop signs or lights because while in the truck he was friendly, his attitude and tones changed. As he instructed for me to pull over at a house, be got out and started to do something but quickly aborted his actions and plans. He then said thanks for the ride bud, and gave me a look as if he was still going to get me,so I got home and I felt good I took him home but scared in every way possible.
Last month around 1 am as I was on my way home.. A man on bike was on the side of the road, and made me stop. He wanted me to take him home which he claimed was a few miles from my house. He did not belong in my area as he was dressed differently. To this day idk why I drove him, and watching this only makes me regret it. This story doesn't make sense. Instead of just saying gimmie the keys he allows the man a chance to drive him again? Then just so happens he lives in a trailer while his mom lives in a 2 story house? He just so happens by pure coincidence to know where his mom lives? The cops are smart enough to know that coincidences like that just dont happen. Something is fishy about that case.

I am very sorry for this man's loss, but I can't understand why on Earth he didn't just give the dude the keys to his truck and let him drive off. And in homicides between 1974-2004 there were more black offenders than whites, which is crazy considering there are 5x-6x more whites. Now am I a racist because I reported the facts?

some stranger came up to my car once whilst i stopped at a redlight and asked for a lift to the closest train station which was only 5 min drive away. i agreed and it was all ok. the man seemed a bit crazy with all his god talk and telling me to visit some church as he got out of the car at the station. Thank god he was a good man and not a psychopath... but stilll i regret doing that, and will never do it again no matter how nice the person seems.

Even though this happened in a rural area, there were cases of serial killers that had been documented already. Many serial killers commit their crimes in rural or suburban areas, which means giving a stranger a ride late at night in the middle of nowhere is like playing russian roulette.

@rarrokla I bet he got the screwdriver weapon from the same glove compartment, as well. He grabbed the screwdriver (and the papers) from the glove compartment, after the victim fled the car and kept the papers in order to find the victim, if he got away.
Moral of the stoy: Don't pick up strangers AND you may want to keep the registration papers with you, so an intruder can't find your name and address, if they break into your car!

Paying any attention to stop signs or lights because while in the truck he was friendly, his attitude and tones changed. As he instructed for me to pull over at a house, be got out and started to do something but quickly aborted his actions and plans. He then said thanks for the ride bud, and gave me a look as if he was still going to get me,so I got home and I felt good I took him home but scared in every way possible.

Last month around 1 am as I was on my way home.. A man on bike was on the side of the road, and made me stop. He wanted me to take him home which he claimed was a few miles from my house. He did not belong in my area as he was dressed differently. To this day idk why I drove him, and watching this only makes me regret it. But the guy instructed me to take him in an area that nobody should be in and it was a dark Erie night and I was really shakin. He got out, and I hauled ass out of there not p
