Hello bro I just got my Vulture II from Maxpedition too.....
The first day I loaded it with most of my survival and camping gear .( too much as usual).
Our squad traveled to the mountains for a hike training ..... and oh my god ,so much weight on me literally kicked my ass. While I was trying to climb down a rock wall made me lose control and slide but was able to hold on to a root and save my ass from a fracture or worse .
I have the video and upload it soon to make them laugh a while.
i love maxpedition gear great quality and great ergonomics but they are way over priced and dont have alot of volume i went with the camelbak bfm 500 its a great pack.
it does fit in a locker fully loaded all three layers ...tryed it ...thats way the profile was important to me..everything fits perfix thanks ryan for talking me into getting this pack
i still have this bags predecessor that i purchased from cheaper than dirt in 2002. paid 18 bucks for it.i wonder if maxpedition ripped them off or just ate the company it came from. who knows.
Great vid Ryan! Looks like you scored a sweet new pack. I like all the PALS webbing on it. My Blackhawk Cyclone serves me well in all aspects, but I wish it had PALS webbing on it! (I know, the new ones do, mine's an older one). Thanks for the flick Bro!!
Hey Ryan, Great video as usual. Good to see your doing well. Thanks for the info. I have a MOLLE II pack, but this looks like the ticket for a lighter scout pack. Awesome and thanks again Bro
Holy crap.. Is MaxPed giving away a ton of free gear or something? Everyone that is anyone and you are definitely someone Brother, is reviewing MaxPed gear over the last month. Looks like a great pack bud and glad to see another new vid from you! Hope to see many more soon!
i got a camel back molle 2 big pockets and i added 2 mag pouches and another pouch for my gloves mask tactical gloves thoses emergency blankits knee pads compus knife cleaning kit for riflee poncho multi tool but thats just what im carring with me i got another bigger backpack to carry more
Hey my Friend, Nice to see ya again. Nice review. Maxpedition makes very good quality gear. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. I hope your making vids again. Hopefully well see you in the woods giving us survival tips again soon!
I'm actually looking for a good quality pack for hiking and in case of an emergency, and I checked the price on this and it's a tad bit above what I'm looking for. I may go for it, but do you have any recommendations of packs that are of relatively the same quality? I mostly look for strength/durability, water proof, and comfort.
It is a good pack though, especially for it's price. Definitely one I'm considering.
Cool new Video, Ryan. I'm in the market for a better BOB myself. I think I might go with the Large ALICE though, you can get them complete at Sportmansguide for 50.00 so that seems pretty good. Thanks for the review if I can ever afford a Maxpedition though lol
theres something shitty coming up in dec.31st 2009, our vitality such as food and health resources will undergo global implementation under codex alimentarius, they're gonna put deadly stimulating growth hormones into cows-meat etc. and the minimum death rate is assumed to be 1 billion-3 billion death starvation beginning 2010. watch a documentary on truther33's channel video called New World Order population reduction...I'm prepared for these sadistic evil cunts
Thanks! I want one now...

Can you tell me what color you got the bag in?

Hey man, good video:)
if i use this pack for school, you think i could fit a 4 inch stack of books in there?
superjus95 1 year ago
@superjus95 I was wondering the same thing
FandRRacing 11 months ago
@FandRRacing
I think it might not fit, because this pack has two main compartments.
I bought the maxpedition falcon II Pygmy because it has a larger main compartment and all my books fit in it perfectly, I really recommend it.

would this be a good pack for a bug out bag?
rantiks 1 year ago
I just ordered one for a bug out bag but it could easily be used as a 1 or 2 day trip if you were traveling light in the summer.

Would this be good for BOB or 72 hours survival?
andyroo89 2 years ago
I think it might be a bit too small for a BOB. I guess it would depend on how much far you had to go.
zerk54 2 years ago
Yeah my comment was posted before it showed the part when he was wearing it and I thought err thats lil to small.
andyroo89 2 years ago
Maxpedition rocks, these guys provide you only with the best of the best. Recently got myself the Jumbo Versipack (a slinger) - it's awesome.
Great video as usual; all the info you need about this particular pack. 5/5
