Dear Dear Dear it was in 1995 and now it is 2011 and a lots of things have changed. BMW and Mercedes are the common names on indian roads, infact one can see every car makers name on indian roads now including ferrari, jaguar etc. Indian makers Tata and Mahindra are making good cars, Roads are way too good, but one thing that is not changed is indian's driving habits and James view about cheap cars specially the cars which are not made in UK, Germany and Japan etc.

And I can only imagine how much worse it must've been in the 1990s. Yes, things are looking up, we're getting newer and safer cars and better roads, but the average Indian driver remains the same.
