Felines are the most efficient predators, snakes most of the time lose against them, though domestic cats have lost a bit their hunter reflexes compared to the amazing reactive speed of wild cats. Check other YT videos on big cats against snakes and you can see exactly the same behaviour but they're faster and quicker than domestic cats

A dog has greater size strength and overall intelligence from a greater percentage of brain dedicated to the frontal cortex. i also believe cats to be more sensitive than dogs.
